PLEASE put up a BIG sign WARNING about the shopping cart wheels lock up past a certain point when pushing the cart towards twin liquors. Luckily I didn't have too many heavy groceries today, but WOW! No warning and an HEB employee who saw it happen just pointed to the line and said you can't go past that line, I grabbed another cart and he told me the line to lock the wheels goes all the way out into the parking lot and then he kept on walking. Didn't even offer to help. I had to grab another cart and push it at least part way towards my car before it locked up again in the parking lot. Then I wrangled the cart with locked wheels to a safe spot out of the road.
I love my HEB but this is a big FAIL.

For several years I considered this location my "home" store when I lived only a few blocks away. Recently I was in the area again and stopped in for a few items. I still felt pretty comfortable finding my way around, even though it's been nearly 4 years. Like most other HEBs, it's a great place to shop for all groceries and other stuff every Texas home needs. Sometimes the traffic can be a little gnarly getting in and out of the parking lot but being patient goes a long way.

A great place to grocery shop in the central area of Austin. Easily seen from the nearby streets. Parking though can be difficult as there aren’t many places and it can fill up quite quickly.

I go to HEB for the freshest produce and Seafood and bakery wow fantastic and great prices and everyone is so friendly. Oh employees they check you out bag your groceries just awesome

Very Good place for Daily needs, staff is cooperative, ample parking, good Quality of fruits and vegetables, Bouquets, cereals, Stationery, in Bakery items & Dairy items u have many choices. Trollies are cleaned. Following Covid protocol. Visiting since last 7 months regularly. Now Pumpkins have been displayed/avlble.

Wanted to make breakfast something with protein and quick cooking so i decided to go to HEB got got some eggs ,sausage also cooked it with Avocado oil which gave it a plus on flavor and don't forget the "Tortillas" 😉 Still the best for grocery shopping and other goodies!!

Very convenient for us to shop there and get everything we need. cashier are always friendly and will ask you if you need help with your groceries getting carried out for you.

Great beer selection and Nikki is always helpful sharing her beer knowledge!

Good HEB, but parking lot is busy. Helpful staff and they had more than 1 checkout open, GJ!

This HEB is well stocked and managed. This past visit, Solomon made my trip with excellent service at the register.

This location is closest to my house and I go here most of the time. It’s never failed to disappoint! They provide plastic bags for purchases of any kind without any issue which I love because the one at lakeline charges you if you don’t bring yours which I strongly dislike, because I RARELY refuse

Its HEB its exactly what you expect. As others have said they tend to run out of things regularly.

I LOVE MY H‑E‑B!!! They treat their employees very well which makes every H‑E‑B visit a good experience. Their fresh foods are great and you can’t beat the value.

We absolutely love H.E.B.!! Every time we're in Austin we stock up on favorites to take back to Little Elm TX! This trip PUMPKINS!!

This is my new H-E-B, since I moved to Crestview. I love it! It has an excellent selection of fresh produce, fresh meat, dairy, household essentials, personal care items and makeup, garden items, pet supplies, and seasonal items. So far, that's all I've shopped for!

HEB comes through with plenty of quality produce, meat, and good prices especially on their growing range of house brands. I go to the Burnet Road HEB in Allendale center for that (32 years) and for the people who like their work & realize how it matters, esp. now. Like Irma was very helpful last trip, and Audra giving samples time before. They genuinely enjoyed making a person's shopping experience better.

This regional family-owned outfit has a stronger supply chain than what we hear about in other parts of the country. First, we grow food here in South Texas; and, they have the transport and storage in place.

When you notice their avocados are fresh and abundant - that's why. They are considered a super food for omega-3s, and sub for fat in recipes. I've done it, just as good (except yeast type bread).

Also you can slide it well-mashed into lots of sandwich fillings, dressings, thick soups, rice ...

For a meal in a bowl as good as anywhere & little cost, just add to what you probably have already. Canned HEB diced tomato (I press the juice out, save for soup), any onion/garlic, seeds - pumpkin, sunflower, chia, chopped walnuts. Single origin olive oil (Google fake olive oil), sea salt or tamari, apple cider or balsamic vinegar. I use HEB one or two leaf for cooking; in your salad, three leaf is richer and sweet to balance the tang, yum. It's a lot like those long-aged ones in fancy little bottles. Really, just cook balsamic down long & slow as high-end chefs do, even getting balsamic "molasses". Still a little tart? Balance with raw local honey.

Then any greens, cubes of cooked potato, cucumber or what you like; chopped meat like tuna, chicken, etc. or vegan add lentils, non-GMO tofu.

Crisped lettuce (take out the core & outer leaves, submerge weighted down in water 20 minutes core side up; drain core side down. This soaks any bitter out, cleans. The ultimate is when you do it the day before, just wrap in towels, paper or cloth to absorb excess water & leave till next day in the frig - it plumps up, more sweet, crisp.) It seems only a few of our grandmothers, and maybe a few fine restaurants, still know and do this. It's a lot better.

Imagine if we learned things like this, and the other hundreds of hacks for Real Life living better, in school? Instead of ... ummm ...

But I digress. And head for the kitchen; a luscious super food salad is calling. Watermelon for dessert (with a hollow sound when rapped sharply, & a yellow - not white or green - pale patch, where it touched the ground. Then, left it in a hot car two days to ripen more.) Mmmm.

Good location to shop , solid deals , friendly staff and customers .

Shout out to Bryan at check out! He never fails to ask about my day or put a smile on my face. This is my favorite HEB for multiple reasons and Bryan is definitely one of them!

I want to commend the Pharmacy of this H‑E‑B. Every tech you come into Contact with, wether by phone or in person, they are fantastic. If you need to speak to a pharmacist, you are also treated with respect and kindness. The efficiency alone has me repeatedly trusting this H‑E‑B pharmacy with my refills. Thank you all, as individuals and as a team. You’re rocking it!
