Very nice staff who give 5 star service. The store is large with great selections of new, used, and antique books with other merchandise such a greeting cards, journals, and small stuffed toys. Great place to find gifts, relax, or buy a book to add to your library. I highly recommend this store. It sits between a Kirby Lane and Amys ice cream and for me this is worth the drive. Eat, read, and be merry.

Great little bookstore with a wide range of actual half-priced books. I bought a journal, a vegetarian cooking book, a financial book, and a world history book for around $10 each. The staff was available and pleasant, ready to help me find in the system some specific books I wanted. Tables are available for people to sit and read, and there's a kid section as well. You can find fiction and non-fiction books, and I'd say there's a good variety of popular and more niche options.

I was looking for particular books. I called in advance they pulled what I was looking for and had them ready for my review when I arrived. Outstanding customer service! The vibe is very cool & inviting -

Amazon, no more! Wow I don’t know why I’ve constantly bought my books from Amazon thinking I’d get the best price.

After waiting 2 days after when Amazon promised my delivery I decided to walk to Half Price Books for my book club book and found it $5 cheaper here than online! Not to mention the serene catharsis of walking into the brick and mortar building, taking in the smell of books all about and more importantly supporting a business that is not Amazon.

Come check here out! You’ll be pleasantly surprised.

Visited Half Price Books for the first time, what a great selection of books.... purchased "Good to Great"....

We went and were quoted a 30 minute wait time for our offer to sale our books to them and that's about how long it took, maybe a little less. All staff was helpful and friendly. My kids enjoyed taking their old books and using the money for new things. There's a good variety of books and toys and games.

I've been going here since the very first one opened while I was at U.T. Austin in the 70's. I can always find a gift here when I need one, whether a book, puzzle, game or book-related gadget. You won't get rich selling them your unneeded books, but they'll always have something you can afford the next time you're looking for a good read. We're lucky to have this place. I like it so much I've decided it would also be a great place to work.

I love this place. Not only is it a great book store (new and used) but it's a great spot for used CD's, records and bluray/dvd, games/puzzles/etc as well. The staff here are always incredibly helpful and the store is incredibly well laid out. My slight criticism is that the used music is typically a tiny bit overpriced, but you can expect the condition to be very good to near mint on most items.

Scooped up some vintage comic books for my nephew! It has become a holiday tradition. He loves them, and I love getting lost in the selection!

It has a wide selection of literature, religion, poetry, CDs or any media you can think of, and the price is a bargain. The bookstore is clean, the staff are friendly. It's my happy place!

All I can say is wonderful things about half Price books they've got books and books related inventory and they're a real bookstore and they're upcycling and they pay us to help them up cycle and all I can say is they rock.

The wonderful employees, especially Agusta and Fred, were extremely nice! They helped build my classroom library by providing my students with three BIG boxes of books. I looked through it and can already see so many that my students are going to love.

I love this book store. The employees are so friendly and the prices are fair. I always have great luck here and have found a few very cool limited edition box sets. It’s also a great place to sell your old books, CDs, games etc. I always use my credits to get new books, so I never end up spending much $$$ either. Highly recommend!

Great book store with a good selection of books at nice prices. The layout of the store is conducive to easily finding what you are looking for as well.

Perfect store for books, records, basically what you would like expect from a bookstore, plus many more. Nicest place to hang out on a lazy Sunday. Prices are really bargain and there are loads for collectioners too.
