I have had so many pleasant experiences working with the Framing department at Michael's. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgable. I'm always really satisfied with the finished product and I can't wait to get more custom pieces framed.

Lee at the Sunset Valley location helped us with framing today. His expertise really shows!!! He was extremely helpful and patient with all of our questions (and the questions of other customers as well!) He provided an excellent customer service experience. Thanks Lee!

Nice craft/wood/decor store located in Brodie Lane in South Austin. There are variety of house plants,flowers to chose for decoration. Staffs are very friendly in locating a certain product and were patient to show offers and deals. It has drive-up option for online orders. #HappyShopping

Alissa did such a job helping me fix the error that the Michael's at 3201 Bee Caves caused and took no responsibility for. Originally when this photograph was framed the Michael's at 3201 Bee Caves Rd mismeasured the photograph and then forced it into a frame that was too small. This made the photograph look wrinkled inside. I cut the photograph to fit into the frame and Alissa and her team mounted and reframed it. Very happy with the results!

I came in today for a custom frame of a family heirloom and Alissa was so kind, helpful, patient, and helped with my handful at the moment kids! Thank you! Alissa was great!

Found what I was looking for... staff was great!

Helpful staff, easy to read labels, clearance always nice to see! Finding things are easy and order things you can place ..parking lot is clean mostly and free! Nice to be members and easy to sing up . Shopping basket is available and easy-to-use.

Very clean and organized store. The staff was friendly and got me quickly checked out. There was a decent amount of people, but the line moved fast. There's always a deal going on and at least one coupon on their app that you can use towards purchases. They were sufficiently stocked and I was easily able to find what I needed. It may be the closest Michael's store to me, but I definitely would still go there even if it wasn't.

This is not a review of the store as much as it is a review of a team member who provided exceptional customer service.

Michaels is Michaels. They have craft supplies. They have decorative items. It's all overpriced and then discounts rotate. I like it. I go there. I will always select Michaels over Hobby Lobby. That's it for the store.

Back to the team member...very recently, I had to make a heavy trip to Michaels at the last minute to purchase a frame to take to my father's funeral. It was an unusually sized photo, and figuring out how to frame and mat without the benefit of having the time to have a custom mat cut was proving really difficult. Beth was working in the framing area and was able to offer several creative solutions to accomplish my goal of having a nice display piece for the service. She was kind, patient, and empathetic all while being extraordinarily helpful.

Ultimately, I am going to use a thick piece of paper or board as a stand in for a mat and mount the photo to it using scrapbook/archival tape for a "floating" look. After the service, I will bring the photo and frame back -- when Beth is working, if I get lucky -- and work with her to place an order for a member of the framing team to cut a mat and properly mount everything.

Exceptional customer service is becoming more and more rare. Michaels should do all they can to hold on to Beth and any other exceptional team members.

they have a great order ahead and pickup experience. i ordered online for indoor pickup. i ordered some christmas tins, but they didn’t have the ones i ordered. They swapped in similar ones and asked me if liked the alternative which was fine with me especially because i wanted to get in and out of there quickly. great selection of holiday and craft stuff. You could spend all day in here so better to go in with an idea of what you want to buy before you go in.

When I need something for an arts and crafts project, I can always find it at Michaels!

Lot of acrylic paints and brushes. I do painting, so I visited only acrylic section. Lot other art materials are there to buy.. Nice place to shop art materials
