Food Lion

In Florida if we still have Food Lion it’s few and far between. I hadn’t been in one is a while. I generally stop into a grocery chain on our way home to pick up a good friend of ours some liver pudding/mush. We couldn’t find the usual Neese’s, but we did find a couple other brands. One looks local. All of it was fairly fresh and had a good expiration date. We did have to ask for assistance in finding it. The lady we asked was knowledgeable. With her help we located it quickly. We were able to pick up a few other things for the drive home without having to make substitutions. Overall the store was clean and stocked. We were able to check out quickly, and get back on the road.

I love Food Lion, I shop here several times a week. Their organic selection is great and the prices are even better! Their staff is very friendly. It's nice when you go somewhere, and the cashier recognizes you and asks about your day. Definitely recommend!

I've been to 3 or 4 different Food Lion stores. This one must be the flagship store. It is by far the nicest one I have been to. Not as bougie as Harris Teeter ( also not as expensive), but it's laid out great. Clean, and plenty of room. Some of the others feel a little cramped for space.

Regular neighborhood grocery store has everything you need and great sales

Nice clean store, and very patient and helpful cashier Lauren today. Puts the N. Chas. locations to shame.

Great prices, I have stopped buying chicken here due to the quality and amount of liquid that leaks from the packaging but everything else is great.

I can pretty much find everything we need here to satisfy our hunger and snack issues very knowledgeable stock people

I always find what I need quick and easy. There's always a food lion rep to help out

I finally found my Pig Feet two thumbs up Food Lion on Savannah hwy in Charleston SC

Even tho the this store is short staff. I’m still able to get what I need I’ve been to multiple different locations and have had terrible experiences. Ive been shopping here for years now and with there product being cheaper then Harris teeter & Publix. It’s always helpful on my wallet. The staff work hard to provide great customer service. Now I won’t say that I haven’t had a bad experience with some bad staff but I’ve worked retail and it does get stressful. Weather it’s a customer getting rude or staff

I do wish that they’d update the looks of there stores to something more modern and not 90’s grab an go.

As promised I am doing a review for the very kind people in this store but they didn’t ask me too and was very appreciative that I mentioned I was going to after I ask for their names so I could praise them personally! Assistant manager Bobby & the lady that answered the phone quickly I assume is a cashier, her name is Candace! I tested them both asking them to repeat their names which I Know from experience is stressful wondering why my name is wanted. They both repeated their names clearly for me in a very nice calm voice like they had nothing to worry about and in fact they did not need to worry at all. Very kind and helpful and will always be my store of choice from here on out as long as they are working there! They deserve raises to make sure they are kept on in the business because if I had not encountered those 2 today, myself, my friends and my entire family would not have been back in any Food lion store and every social platform besides these google reviews would have been plastered with the way my husband was treated so filthy in the folly rd store by “management” and employees. I’m guessing you all just needed a warm body to call a “manager” at folly rd store or you would have gotten someone with couth, education, common sense and customer service respect! This manager Bobby & Candace should be the main people training new ppl coming into your business on how it should be ran and how to treat ppl. PERIOD! Maybe then the company would not be now facing a possible lawsuit by a very go getter of a lawyer and a very persistent client like me that both know when we have a winning case because we both study the law nonstop. Thank You Mr Bobby & Miss Candace for your family like respectful attitudes and winning personalities! Very professional! I can’t say enough good things about these 2 people here! Amazing ppl and what people from north come to the south to experience! We needed to feel the southern hospitality after the last year and a half we’ve had. We’ve had 5 deaths that include both of my parents and our service animal we loved like our real human child that took care of both of us when we were in need. I had a nervous breakdown and realize life’s too short and not worth letting the little minded ppl of the world and folly rd store get by with ignorance anymore!

Helpful associate at the bakery section. Reasonable prices compared to Publix. And, they had ONION Rolls that were to die for! I’ve been looking for good onion rolls forever. Too bad I was just visiting. Also, appreciated that the checkout person on two occasions immediately offered to use her store reward card to get me discounts because where I live there there isn’t a Food Lion!

They usually always have what I need. I'm from New England and I'm used to Hannaford 's Stores. I was thrilled when I learned Food Lion is their Sister Store. They carry everything I'm used to buying. That makes me a happy shopper 😁

This food Lion is by far the most friendly than all the others. I'm not saying the others were bad they were good. This one however has been more patient with my accidental foolishness then all the rest. I usually go there late afternoon early evening sometimes right at closing. There is a lady manager in the front who is a beautiful brunette who is always on her feet and not only supervising but actively involves herself to help keep things flowing not only for the customers, but also for her staff sake. Happy stuff happy customers.flowing productivity extremely happy customers. So five stars and 2 thumbs up. Very good team at this specific food Lion go there during the hours I mentioned and you'll see what I mean. 🍉🥦🥩🍞🧈🥛🥚🍽🦁

All clean, great selection and good prices

We usually go to a different food lion that is closer to our house but we came here one day while getting some take out. It’s way better than our regular one! So clean and the staff is super nice, we were actually able to find stuff that is usually sold out everywhere else! So happy!

They are so friendlty and helped me find what I needed. The girl named felicia was so nice to answer my question when she was busy. Always smiling and willing to help

I haven't been to this FL before and I is set up different than the one by my house. Employees where so helpful with me finding everthing. I needed 2lbs of fresh ground 80/20 and the gentleman at the meat department very happily helped me out. Unfortunately the FL by my house would never go out of there way like this. Thank you all for a wonderful shopping experience.
