Lunds & Byerlys Burnsville

Visited at the break of dawn in my work uniform coming off a red eye. Working and leaving my mother again the next night on her birthday, and was picking up some of her favorite things. Shane, one of the managers, was extra helpful in making sure I had everything I needed for my moms special day. I appreciate his personal touch and help making her day while I’m gone. Thanks Shane.

I had an amazing experience at the Burnsville, MN Lunds & Byerlys. While on my way home from work, and in preparation for an evening dinner guest, I stopped and picked up several bags of groceries. Once home and after the grill was fired up, I noticed that the meat that I just purchased did not make it home. I had used the drive-thru pickup. A quick look in my car revealed that one numbered pickup card was still laying there. Byerlys DROVE to my home and hand delivered the missing groceries in time to serve the meal - a good half hour drive for them! And they added in a few grocery surprises. What fantastic customer service! If only everyone handled a simply human mistake with such integrity and speed!

The meat department is exceptional. I count on them for freshness and flavor. If you get a chance to know the staff, they are quick with tips and often have suggestions on how to prepare your main dish. They also have their own line of seasonings that complement fish, beef, chicken, and lamb. The variety available for fish, which I love, fits almost and taste bud.

Their cheese selection is fantastic; I buy 3-4 varieties every week and have been able to get what I need for most any recipe. The desserts and pastries are really stand-out. I’ve bought the Chocolate Raspberry Mascarpone in a least four locations across the Twin Cities. They likely all use the same recipe, but consistently, the bakery department at the Burnsville location makes them the very best!

They sell several brand items that otherwise I am running several place to catch. One favorite that comes to mind are the La Perruche Br Sugar Cubes and Mexican Coke in glass bottles.

Out of all few places that I have shopped during COVID-19, I think they have done the best job of keeping a distance between shoppers at checkout, washing things down, and having all the staff wear masks. Most of all, the customer service is second to none!

I love this store! -New store NOW OPEN on English ave. In Apple Valley off Pilot Knob Road. Many times I find things to be cheaper than Cub or Target. B.o.g.o deals. Sign up to use your phone number for Rewards. It may surprise you at checkout when you put your phone number in. I enjoy the atmosphere and people are always friendly.💓 Love the carrot cake.

I'm a shipt shopper and I love picking up orders from this store. They're always effecient and kind. The other day I helped them load my car (I was doing two huge orders) and one of the people gave me a bottle of water and a doughnut and I almost cried because I was having a bad week and it was just so kind. The doughnut was delicious and from their bakery btw so that alone is worth going here lol

I just called the Lunds & Byerlys store in Burnsville to order a surprise birthday cake and cupcakes for my husband. I got Tammy in the bakery department there and she was FABULOUS!!! She was so nice, helpful, listened to me, and gave me suggestions! It was such a fun conversation. I am a HR Manager and Tammy is an employee I would hire and want to keep for my company! She is a keeper! Thank you Tammy for the great service and experience!

Solid grocery store. They have everything here, it also has people working at cashiers unlike couple Walmarts around here. Don't think I've ever been let down here. They have good sushi freshly made aswell. And a variety of bread and bakery.

First time there today (4/8/22) Never been to this location before! Been to other Lunds & Byerlys stores! I had a great experience!! Everyone in there so nice, helpful and friendly!! Bakery is Phenomenal! Love the Creme Brulee and other pastries and desserts in there! Great seating area for the deli.. I would come back to this location again!

Despite higher prices compared to other grocery stores, the quality of their products always outshines the competition! They always have excellent selection of bakery items, produce, seafood, and meat. I also love all of their store-brand products! Clean, organized, and friendly staff, I’ve been coming shopping here for years, and can’t see myself shopping anywhere else.

I just had a Manhattan roast and it was the BEST piece of meat I have ever had. It was seasoned just right and every bite was tender and flavorful. I cooked it in my air fryer @ 400 for 10 min and then @ 230 for 15 min per pound. I let it rest for 10 min and it was divine !!!

I love shopping here. The people are great and I love the Metro Deli sandwich meat and Bell & Evans chicken, the cleanest options out there if you want to avoid Nitrates and other dangerous preservatives. Both some of the best tasting meats in their respective categories too!

In house salad bars, restaurant & much more.
Groceries on the high end but well worth it.
Some locations offer drive up service after shopping.

This place is awesome! Friendly staff, great selection and they carry things you don't find at other competitors. Great location with easy access and they still offer the drive up service. They even offer US Bank services and a little coffee shop!

Very neat, very clean, but the prices are reflected by the extra care taken by employees. You can get your groceries loaded into your car by staff.

This is a Great place to shop as it's a convenient location with banking and postal on site. They have fresh produce and a good bakery clean restrooms 🚻 and plenty of parking available.

Byerlys is my favorite place to shop for groceries. They have the best meat and produce in town. The staff is always friendly and they go out of their way to get you anything you need. They are also old school. Pull into the drive-thru and they load your groceries into the car for you. If you want to be pampered, or you are looking for great deals on food, this is the place to go.

More expensive than other grocery stores but produce is outstanding, bakery is great, amazing meat dept. Overall, staff is wonderful and one of the only grocery stores where staff and customers properly wear masks. Thank you.

The prices here ARE higher than the other grocery stores in the area, except their sale items! Check out their weekly ad for great deals! The team members here are helpful and friendly, and if you like not having to haul out your cart and bags, they have a pickup location around the side of the store, so you don't have to move anything after checkout, (untill you get home)! If you live close, it's worth checking out their ads when they come out each Thursday to see if there are any deals with stopping in for!
