I just love Laura! She is one of the kindest and most people you will ever meet! She has the most wonderful gifts ideas; some of my favorites are the beautiful silk kimonos, jewelry and fun socks! She makes fabulous beaded jewelry as well! She is a true gem!

Today I went into this lovely shop to look for one small birthday gift for a friend. Over an hour later I had 2 gifts for friends , and bday gifts for my daughter !! I also found a wonderful hat and pair of unique earrings for myself !!! It feels good to support our local shops and this one is a real gem. The owner , Laura , goes out of her way to make your shopping experience great. Check out this spot if you haven’t already !!!

My mom and I stopped into this shop while visiting Portland, and it was such a lovely experience. There are so many wonderful gifts and souvenirs to choose from. The owner, Laura, gave us such a warm welcome, and even took the time to make a handwritten note of good restaurants for us to try while in town - all of which were delicious! I also bought a pair of earrings she handmade and they're so unique and pretty. I would definitely recommend stopping into this charming store, it was a memorable visit.

Laura is not only helpful but a delight to talk to. So happy to have found Irish rasher bacon and black and white puddings for an Irish breakfast fix away from Ireland. For any of those of you looking for kooky and classy objets then you’ve found the place. Can’t recommend the place enough!

I cannot say enough fabulous things about Darby Jones! The shop is fantastic, full of unique one-of-a-kind gifts for all of your friends and family. Last week I did Christmas shopping and bought my 22 yr old daughter gifts, 5 of my girlfriends special items I know they will love, a baby gift, my two cats lucked out and of course I couldn't forget myself. I finished off my set of collectable drinking glasses and I splurged on a fantastic smelling candle. You simply cannot go wrong. It's location is very convenient on Stevens Avenue, right up the road from Deering Highschool on the left. However, as great as the store is, the owner, Laura is the most special part. She is so sweet, takes her time helping you, is a great conversationalist and she makes you feel like you have known her for year's. She also is the best gift wrapper in the world which helps me out immensely. Don't wait to go in. Plan on spending a little time, there are so many wonderful things to look at!!!

I love this little local shop! Full of unique and beautiful items you can’t find anywhere else! Laura is beyond sweet and so helpful! She has so many beautiful gift ideas! I just bought a beautifully handpainted Christmas ornament crafted by the the owner herself! This is a must stop shop for Portland locals or anyone passing through town. The customer service is the best I have ever experienced and I will most definitely be going back! I would highly recommend!

I have always found the perfect gift for everyone in this brilliant little shop. A great place to check first for unique and upscale items that aren't available anywhere. I always find a little something for myself too. It's hard not to. It goes without saying that the owner is genuine and goes above and beyond to add to your shopping experience. I highly recommend this be your first stop when looking for gifts, cards, bags, jewelry and more!

Run, don’t walk to this darling store! You will no doubt find a thoughtful gift for any occasion or something special for yourself. Laura has curated an amazing assortment of both Maine made products as well as international items. I especially love her curated gift baskets which I recently brought to a wedding and was quite the hit!

Have been in several times now - I can always find a gift for my female friends/relatives here! (Plenty of stuff for guys, kids, and pets, too!). Great jewelry and bags, and nice selection of local products. Seems like a great place to find a Maine-themed souvenir/gift.

Laura is not only sweet and accommodating, she also cares not only about those who buy her wares, but also for those receiving her wares. I bought a condolence present that she personally delivered and guarded until the recipient came home. She is wonderful and if you have a chance to buy from her, you are supporting a way to treat people and a way that business should be done.

I stopped in last minute, on Christmas Eve.. in an absolute panic! The clock was ticking, and I still had more than half of my friends to find gifts for... luckily, within an hour I had everything I needed, wrapped to PERFECTION, and enjoyed great conversation with the owner (Laura) the whole time. Overall, I don’t typically give 5 star reviews.. but this process was SO seamless, and the gifts were SUCH a hit, I find it hard awarding anything less than 5 well deserved stars. Thank you Darby Jones, for saving my butt yes again this Christmas

This is a really special store. Charming, unique gifts, GREAT cards, some locally-made jewelry and gifts, and Laura, a warm and welcoming owner. We love having this beautiful store in the neighborhood!

I visited for the first time today in hopes of avoiding the old port or mall for last minute Christmas shopping. It did not disappoint. Lovely store and owner. There were several of us waiting while she beautifully wrapped and not a one of us minded. Well worth the wait. Lots of unique gifts you don’t normally see, even in the old port. I’ll be returning for a very cute bag after the holidays. Hope it’s still there 🤞

Great shop with vibrant atmosphere and some of the loveliest gifts and jewelry. They have plenty of offerings from local artists as well as neat trinkets and candies from Ireland and the U.K.!

The owner is the sweetest most helpful lovely person. I love everything in this store! Great to closing gifts for us realtors and great for any day gifts for friends and family!!

This neighborhood store has everything, such a a fun place to shop. Candles, clothes, gift cards, jewelry, pocket books, signs, candy, cookies I could go on forever, but I find everything I am shopping for right here !
