Minnano Japanese Grocery

My favorite place to shop for Japanese snacks, candies, food, and decorative items. Been coming here since they were a much smaller shop. Although they have grown, it's been the same core friendly staff since the beginning.

You'll be impressed with how much they have and all at reasonable prices. If you're looking for any popular Japanese items, you'll most likely be able to find it here. Grab a basket as you'll probably buy more than you planned.

I enjoy visiting this store when I'm in San Antonio. They have a nice variety of Japanese snack food and household items and gifts as well. I bought a cute shiba bowl and a dog pencil sharpener last time I was there. I also bought a few snacks. Their prices are reasonable and they have a nice variety of items to choose from.

I have been coming here for about 2 years. The folks are always very pleasant! The store is kept ridiculously CLEAN! I’ve never seen ONE thing out of place. They are always so welcoming and willing to help. There’s a lady there (I think she’s the owner), she’s especially helpful. I love love their selection of sheet masks, body & hair care, a small variety of makeup items and some cutesy little girly headbands. You can spend hours in this tiny store just looking at all the items they carry! If you are looking for a fun place to go on a date or take your kiddos- this is a cool option. My boys love coming here and shopping the ramen and candy aisles. Definitely worth going at least once and checking it out!

They always greet you at the door, which is a nice touch to your shopping experience. One of the best Japanese groceries in San Antonio.

The cutest place for accessories makeup and food, it’s my very first time coming here and I enjoyed it a lot the lady was so nice and friendly I reccomend coming here if you are interested in these type of stuff

Lovely store and staff!! Had so much fun visiting this place with my sister and honestly it has so much variety. Will definitely find quality items for adorable prices. You wont regret coming here((:

This place is nice and cozy. I've been popping in for years, and they have a great selection of snacks, although I mostly go there for cooking tools, ingredients, or sauces. They do their best to provide a good selection of Japanese experiences, which sometimes means they have a little bit of allot so something you see there once might not be there again since they are introducing new things all the time.

I lived in Japan for 4 years and haven’t been able to find any of my favs without ordering online. The moment I walked in I immediately saw everything I had been missing. Definitely will be going back.

This place rocks, I was born in Japan, many years ago, and there is this bean candy I still crave once in awhile, you know that good old taste you remember but really can't find anywhere else...Well this place has just about it all from the bean candy to specialized cooking tools, various rice choices, and more, I even picked up a sushi kit while I was there and made vegetarian sushi which was my very first time doing, check out the pics, if you like culture and doing things differently check this place out they even sell Pepsi with the Japanese label and other drinks as well. Enjoy life get out and do new things.

I came over here on my birthday. I love the Japanese culture. If you do too you will love this cute shop! They have almost everything. They sell kimonos here but besides that there are very few clothes items to buy. Besides that they do carry dishes for ramen and sake. A variety to choose from even chopsticks! They have a lot of drinks from teas, Boba and ramune. They have sweet and savory snacks dry, refrigerated and frozen. They have condiments, shelf staples and different cooking ingredients. I found red bean paste and some mushroom soy here. They have bath and body products from Japan and even towels. They also sell plushes and stationary from Japan. There are some Anime items from Demon Slayer and others but definitely more Hello Kitty and Pokémon products offered. They sell trading cards too. They also offer freshly made products made fresh in store. This store is also very clean and it makes you feel like you are actually shopping in a store in Japan. The atmosphere is very Japanese like. I recommend this place for picking up authentic gifts, food and anything Japanese. I think I will definitely go back!

Wow! This place is amazing! The ambience is very colorful, the staff is very friendly and there's everything from teas, dishes, makeup, toys, pens, groceries and so much more!

You should totally come take a look, you won't be disappointed.

Very good place, I always order Japanese stuff online but I didn't know this place existed til my friend told me about it! The staff is nice as well 😀 I mostly took home a lot of anime related goodies and a boba tea kit. Highly recommend! 👌🏼

Great selection of food (both fresh and pre-packaged), candies, sodas and gifts. All authentic and fair priced. Good location. Staff is warm and welcoming and very knowledgeable. There is a little library at the front with books and magazines in Japanese. Creative and fun decor. Happy return customers talk to you and help show you around, talk recipes, Japanese pop culture.

Went here for the first time yesterday and the experience was great the staff was real friendly and the atmosphere felt calming and there was so many options to choose from will definitely be here again probably later this afternoon too :3

The best Japanese grocery store in TOWN! The staff are all so kind and help with any questions you have! The food is SO GOOD! It has everything I need to make a dish at home. The in house onigiri and musubi are also THE BEST IN TOWN! ♥

Went to get Eel for DIY sushi. It came out excellent, 14 $ for an 8oz portion is a but steep IMO. However, this place is super cozy and has a very chill atmosphere. Lots of knickknacks and food items. Highly recommend.

The front of the store is inviting! You are greeted at the door with a smile! It's very clean and bright so you can see everything in there. And yes, they have a lot in there. Take your time to browse. Someone is always around to answer any question and explain if needed. I needed. Lol
