PJ's Fast Food Mart

We're only really around during football season, but won't leave town without stopping in and gassing up. The banter with the guys in the early mornings is priceless! They're always friendly and the coffee is really good. It's a wonderfully laid back atmosphere and we are always welcomed back each fall.

Its really close to my home

I like that they're always open 24/7. Beer and cigarettes are nicely priced. Though, gas is always among the most expensive in town. The employees are friendly and welcoming, well except for Greg. If I pull into the parking lot and see him thru the window, I don't even go in. His inflated ego, pitifully poor attitude, and the creepy way he leers at female patrons are enough to ruin a person's day. Aside from high gas prices and one man's high horses, not a half bad place to shop.

If you are seeking the genteel south, at a fair price, 5 cents more a gallon than most gas stations in this area of NC., please don't stop at PJs BP Gas Station in Sylva NC. The rude, uncaring, behavior toward a desperate lady on Mother's Day during Covid19 was beyond belief. These men were not gentlemen by any means. We stopped to purchase gas and use the restroom. I walked inside and looked toward the restroom sign at the back of the store. As soon as I touched the door, they yelled, "UNH UNH". I believe that means no. I turned around and literally begged them. I was in a desperate state. They laughed in my face. I asked why they have the sign and the door open? It was open when I walked in. They just smirked.. Sylva, NC is a nice place with the exception of this gas station. Avoid at all costs.
