If you're like me, and you don't eat a lot of bread, why pay full price for something you never really use? Visit the Discount Bakery Store. If you like the "Dave's Killer Bread" brand from Asheville, don't pay the high grocery store prices. Visit the Discount Bakery Store on Wednesdays and there's a discount if you buy two loaves. Pop whatever you don't need in the freezer. Boom! You don't have to worry about bread for a while.
Or, if you eat a ton of bread, this place would also make sense.
It all balances out.

Great place to buy discount baked goods. The staff is always super friendly and the prices can't be beat, this is my go to place for snacks when I'm in the mood. They always have a huge selection for such a small store! The items are usually almost out of date but still have enough time to not be stale, I've never gotten anything that wasn't good.

Few parking spots….and the door to the store being repaired apparently breaks their register. Next time you should consider removing the GIANT open sign if you’re going to close the store during regular business hours.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of visiting Discount Bakery Store and I must say that it was nothing short of disappointing. From start to finish, my visit left a sour taste in my mouth

Firstly, the customer service was abysmal. The staff seemed disinterested and unhelpful. They lacked basic courtesy and failed to provide any assistance or guidance when I had questions about their products. It was quite disheartening to receive such indifference as a customer.

Moreover, the quality of the baked goods was far below expectations. The pastries were dry, tasteless, and lacked any freshness. It seemed as if they had been sitting out for far too long. I had hoped for a delightful treat, but instead, I was left utterly unimpressed.

Additionally, the ambiance of the bakery was lackluster and uninviting. The seating area was cramped and uncomfortable, with no effort made to create an enjoyable environment for customers. It felt more like a rushed assembly line rather than a welcoming bakery.

Overall, I cannot recommend Discount Bakery Store based on my experience. The combination of poor customer service, subpar quality of baked goods, and uninviting ambiance made for a frustrating and regrettable visit.
