Rancho Viejo Mexican Restaurant

I was in a party of about 60 people. The staff did an amazing job taking care of all of us and their other guests. The servers were friendly and attentive. The food was amazing! I had the combo with 2 items (beef taco and enchilada) with beans and rice. And we had the fried ice cream for dessert.

Great fish tacos, fajitas, soup, guac, and quesadillas. The service is excellent and the food is well seasoned and fresh. I wish they’d be able to obtain a liquor license for margaritas. They serve ice cold beer in the meantime :)

We got steak tacos and they were awesome!! Along with great people and a good price, you can't beat it! (We order to-go and it came with chips and salsa for each meal for no extra charge 😁)

Best Mexican food I had for less cost is here compared to with atlanta. Worth to go and eat.

Wonderful find!!! This was the best Mexican food I’ve ever had had!! Excellent flavors and all very distinctive. Service and atmosphere was great too! We had 5 different meals and they all were fantastic!! I’ve eaten in lots of different Mexican restaurants and none have been this good. We were traveling through from Wisconsin and so happy to discover this gem!! Thank you to all who created the fantastic meals, atmosphere, and service!!!

The chicken soups we ordered were plenty for both of us. We ordered arrachera, but we had to take it to go. The place welcomed us with salsa and chips. The personnel can work a bit on presentation, but everyone was working at fast speed.

Greeted as I walked in and quickly sat down. Chips and salsa dropped off before I finished looking at the cover of the menu. Chips were good with just the right amount of salt. Ordered food and it arrived not too long after. Tried the chicken flautas, rice, and a tamale. All three were good. I enjoyed the tamale the most. Looking forward to trying something else next time.

Wonderful place! The staff was quick and attentive, the atmosphere is nice, and the acoustics are good - no problem conversing with your table. But the best part was the food! All items were delicious, with distinctive flavors, and very fresh. I love Mexican food and have eaten it all across the US, and Rancho Viejo is right up there with the best.

Great service, very good Mexican food, clean space and good size portions. I ordered the cow boy fajitas which included steak, chicken and shrimp. They serve chips and salsa before taking your order. I’m glad we found this place while visiting The Great Smokey Mountains

The food was really good! Tasty, generous with the amount. The Orchata is something I would recommend to try: a sweet drink that is refreshing at the same time. Does have quite a bit of grease, but the ingredients such as tomato or the guacamole helps to counteract it

Always good, always quick. Cheese dip is good, a small goes a long ways. Service is always nice and friendly. Highly recommend. It's not whitewashed and I admire them for it. Bf was vegetarian for a bit and we always went there cause he actually had options, even now he's not, and we still go cause it's a safe bet the food will be good.

Initially wasn’t sure to enter in this restaurant but once there the server was good and surprisingly food was awesome. Fajitas was tasty and there serving was faster than others. Good to fill your tummy here before you hit the trails of smoky mountain.

Great food and wonderful service! The vegetables were very fresh and the meat and shrimp were quality. Compared to other restaurants in town, this was a breath of fresh air. The restaurant is very clean and the staff and other patrons were compliant with current mask mandates.

I like the food here. Chips and salsa are really good. Fish tacos have fried fish and I didn’t like it. Grilled chicken is really good. The side rice is tasty

Finally found some good Horchata! Service was great... prices were cheap and food was awesome. They have a stellar lunch menu with good combos. The chips and salsa are very good and fresh too. Will definitely return!

We were visiting from out of town so we decided to stop here to eat. Everything was good. Good food and friendly people. I would definitely eat here again when we are back in town. The salsa is amazing so make sure you get some. The cheese dip is amazing too.

We were on vacation in Cherokee and decided on this Mexican restaurant. I thought it was great. I ordered, i think it was called, tacos de asada and it was delicious! My husband got a big pile of steak nachos and we were both stuffed. The staff was very attentive so the service was excellent.

For the other reviews complaining about the quesadilla being a large chicken taco, that's exactly how it is represented in the picture on the menu. So if those reviewers made assumptions about the quesadilla being like all other quesadillas, it's not like they're misrepresenting it. So I'd say its on them not the restaurant lol.

Nice Mexican place. Large menu which I didn't really look at since I tend to always order a speedy with beans. Went at 3 o'clock on a Saturday and saw 2 or 3 other tables occupied. The food was still fast and fresh and the service was good.

Pretty good food, waiter was able to accommodate an order edit. Good service.
