Kroger Marketplace

You can basically get everything at a Kroger marketplace, their pharmacy is amazing and text me when my meds are ready for pick up AND text regular reminders… the food is always fresh and I love there’s a Starbucks inside to drink while shopping

I only shop at this Kroger, because they keep the store stocked (Compared to the other Krogers). I also want to thank the following people that always go above and beyond for me:
Produce: Stephanie, Jen , Phil, Jordan, Caleb, Dylan, & the sweet Hispanic man that cuts up all the fruit & veggies.
Bakery: Jossette

I wanted to purchase two teal patio chairs from the Kroger on Sawmill Rd but having recently had an abdominal hysterectomy I’m unable to lift anything. I went to the Customer Service Desk and spoke with Store Manager Peder. He not only rang up my purchase for me but said to just pull my car up by the chairs and he would load them for me himself! I did just that and he even shook out the rain from the chairs before loading them for me. I am utterly impressed by Manager Peder for his stellar customer service!!

Great grocery store, with a really nice Liquor Store within… great selection of canned and bottled beer.

The pharmacy at this location is normally headache inducing because of long wait times and staffing issues (which is in no way the fault of those working. And I’m sure the folks there already need to be paid better). But today I had an exceptional experience with Chris, who did everything in his power to get me my script after a refill request didn’t go through. I believe he even stayed past when was supposed to leave for the day because he wanted to make sure I got my script after I’d been waiting almost 30 minutes. I know the pharmacy staff is doing their best and this small touch did not go unnoticed, so big thanks to them!

Love the store. Staff is usually great. Today however, my dad and I were literally ignored my the woman work at customer service. I was unable to get her name, but will. It was around 2:30-3pm, Saturday afternoon. We walked up to the service desk, which was empty, other than the 1 female employee behind the counter. As we walked up, she walked away. She walked to Starbucks and came back but she didn't say a word as we both stood there in silence and watched her walk off. She can't say she didn't see us. She made eye contact with my Dad. She actually looked him in the eye, said nothing and walked away. I can't honestly say that the rudest I've ever been treated and we live in a world of many rude people, so that's saying a lot. I've been here 40 years and I can honestly say, I've never been treated worse than I was today and unfortunately, my Dad was there too.

This location has got a beautiful beautiful collection of Flowers ! If you want flowers, this is the place !
The fruits and vegetables were all fresh. Great collection of cheese as well.
Oh and yes, I have not seen such a big collection of Drinking bottled water anywhere else, so for that as well, its the best place.

This is a nice place to shop, sometimes it's a bit busy. Usually have the store well stocked, the bakery is good. Fresh bread, bagles and croissants. They have a great wine selection and inside the store is a state liquor store. Wait at the deli is hit or miss. Kroger has the best milk. They even sell clothes.

Employee by the name of Robert Fischer was the kindest person to ever give me my groceries. He was so kind to me and my kids even picked up my daughters toy and gave it to her after she threw it out the window. Will definitely get more pick ups from this kroger.

I'm an Instacart shopper and only shop at this Kroger for my customers. This store has the best stock & the staff is extremely helpful. The Kroger employees that really go above and beyond for me are: Jen and John & Stephanie (Produce dep), Brandon , Danny, Lumin, Charlie (Deli dep). Tim and the ladies (In the fancy cheese area) Collin and Macayla (alcohol dep). Derek & Josette (Bakery). Austin, Casey and Kenny (Meat dep) John P.(in-store customer shopper). And Issac, Chase, Kyle, and Armand(Self Checkout). Thanks for making my shopping easier 💚

Very clean and safe kroger

I’ve read a lot of the reviews of this store and am wondering how many of them have ever worked in retail/food service. I spent ten years in retail, from a cashier to store management. I’ve shopped at this store for five years with no issues. Let’s be clear: the store management and staff don’t dictate how wide the aisles are or if the handicap carts are charged. Corporate says how wide the aisles are and if there is clutter, it’s because this area of Columbus is THE HARDEST to staff in the city. I know, I’ve tried to staff a store in the same area. They don’t have people to clear the clutter away. If the handicap carts aren’t charged it’s because your middle and high school aged children come in whenever they can and play on them. Management and staff members follow them around telling them there are people who really need them and they don’t care. Wait times are long and people shut their lights off because they don’t have enough people. Be grateful you have a store like this (actually multiple you can choose from) in your area and stop being so ridiculous. We’re all people, maybe stop being so judgmental and realize what you have.

I’d say my visit was while the store was busy, but it always seems busy. I was using self check-out, trying to juggle my bags along with my 2-year-old. This guy Justin was super on top of it, helped me out while bouncing in between the other nearby customers. Not an easy thing to do during a rush. Top notch.

I ordered chicken for our family gathering on Labor Day. Donovan cooked our chicken to perfection. It was delicious and was ready exactly on time...hot and crispy. Thank you Donovan!!!

Store is always clean and you can easily find what you need. I love that they offer fruit for the kiddos while you shop as well as cookies for kids in the bakery. It is one of my favorite places to get produce since it is always fresh. My only complaint would be that it is usually hard to get one of the kids police/fire truck carts, which is usually a must have for my little's.

This is one of the friendliest Kroger stores I've ever been to. All the associates greet you and ask how your day is going. One gentleman was gathering carts one morning and took the time to come over to my car and help me unload my groceries from my cart. I will continue to shop here weekly.

I love this store. I've been shopping here for 3 years. You have a 5th 3rd bank, a jeweler and clothing department, within a grocery store. The staff is professional and accommodating. Once a month I will drive from Upper Arlington to visit this store, if they were to change my Kroger (Henderson Rd) to a Market Place ? Seriously, it is worth the drive, I love this concept. Thank you.

This is our grocery store that we shop at weekly. On occasion I have had a few bad experiences with staff and/or construction or parking issues but overall our last 7 years of shopping here have been enjoyable. My most recent trip this past week was great. Suriya was my cashier and she was very kind, helpful and nice to chat with at the checkout line. I really appreciate people like her and I hope Kroger continues to reward their employees that make shopping at their stores an enjoyable experience.

Great store to shop! While everyday prices may be slightly higher than some stores, Kroger has amazing sales when bought in multiples that cut prices almost in half! Stock up on different types of food each week, and next week something else. It's the best way to shop! I usually save about 40% from their deals and coupons which can be combined on the same offer.

The florist department did our wedding flowers! Bouquets, Boutonnieres, corsages and center pieces. They were awesome! Tiffany was so incredibly nice every time we spoke to her and she was very on top of things. I would most definitely us them again in a heart beat.
