Gelson's Century City

As always, you have the products I am looking for, and your produce is top notch. Most of your staff has been there since I've been out here (now about 15 years) and I always enjoy talking to them--they are all professionals, in the very best sense of the word. They know their products, they know the store and they work hard to get to know their customers. It's a wonderful (and rare) feeling to walk into a store nowadays and feel welcomed and wanted as a regular customer!

People helped me find things by walking me to the right place. The person putting out chickens recommended the brand he buys. The friendly checkout person was patient and helpful. The selection of produce was excellent and delicious.

The helpful person in the meat department. Despite being short-staffed, he took the time to make up an order of sirloin patties that weren't available in the case. I told him how much I appreciated it!

I've been a customer at this store for a couple of years and until recently I had the pleasure of meeting Wendy. I first met her at the managers desk where I assume she answers the phone and helps out the managers with customers when they need to find a product like I did. She not only told me where to find what I was looking for, but she offered to bring it to me while I waited in line. Now not only did she bring me what I needed, but she brought me different sizes to choose from. Then she started bagging our groceries. Now my husband is very judgemental and pointed out that she always had a smile on her face and that no one had ever asked us which way are we exiting so they can turn the cart in that direction. When we got home and we started putting the groceries away he noticed that she has a very unique way of bagging groceries which made us putting the groceries away a whole lot easier. Our bread arrived in good condition as so our bananas avocados and eggs. Thank you Wendy and I think that store should have more staff like her who are always wearing a sincere smile on their face.

The store is very clean. The Meat Department employees are wonderful. Always SO helpful and willing to accommodate any requests. Lamsi, Josie and Kat are the best at completing a shopping excursion at the checkout counter and getting customers out of the store on a positive note.

Great selection for small (or large) office gatherings, made it easy to pick up last minute event and the staff is amazing Ylda in the bakery 🧁 and the manager Luis really helped us out.

Nice clean market, the high light of this place is Victor Benes Bakery,, always fresh cakes,, my favorite is the princess cake in the picture its a yellow cake with raspberry and whip cream filing covered by green marzipan, Saturday and Sundays are so busy

Always a good experience (except maybe trying to find a parking space). The produce and cheese selection are excellent. They work hard to keep the checkout lines short. They don’t have as many organic food options as Pavilions but almost as many. They are, however, more expensive.

I wanted to give a special thank you to KC working at Wolfgang puck for making my breakfast sandwich just the way I wanted it. I expressed that I recently had dental work done and I’ve been in a lot of pain. I couldn’t eat anything too hard. He made everything with ease and even suggested a few alternatives. ALSO I wanted to give a warm thank you to Sammy. I was sitting outside freezing eating my sandwich he gave me his seat and offered to turn the heater on for me. I also forgot my napkins. Without Even asking he noticed. And brought them to me right away. Way to go guys this is true customer service.

Finding everything I need is always a win. But I was looking for special Halloween surprises for my kids. I found treat bags, decorations and many special treats - all in one place. I waited till the last minute and was so relieved to find all I needed to make the kids' Halloween extra special. Thank you!

I had a fantastic experience with Volga at Gelson's Market. Her assistance was invaluable. She was not only incredibly professional but also very helpful. Volga went out of her way to guide me to the items I was looking for, and her kindness was truly appreciated. Her excellent service made my shopping trip a pleasure. Thank you, Volga!

I worked at Gelson's while in College, and while it does have the rep of being overpriced, that's a term not used in rich people's vocabulary. The Store's enshrined customer base has Gelson's accounts where they simply charge and go - they don't care what the total amount is. Century City was also the most iconic location because all of Hollywood used to shop there, so you didn't mind paying more if you saw Harrison Ford or Christie Brinkley walking the aisles.

I like this Gelson's, it never seems too crowded and the staff are super nice and helpful. The produce always looks stellar and you can find a great selection of beers in the cooler. The fact that it's at the mall is even better! Grab a bite, see a flick at the AMC upstairs and get your grocery shopping on the way out!

Lamsi. She is the warmest and kindest person. I recently had lung surgery and i started to cough. She gave me her bottle of water and very carefully put my groceries in my bags and did not make them too heavy. I always like shopping at Gelson's and Lamsi made it so much more pleasurable. This is a fabulous grocery store, has anything you might need, bakery and deli too. I was very impressed with the wide selection and presentation of the store.

It was the day of the Biblical Storm and there was no one there! Like the good old days of lockdown. Although at the time it was just drizzling, I loved that you guys were underground so I didn't need an umbrella. The day before I had been to Ralph's and Sprouts looking for bananas and could find nary a one, plus the lines were out the door, so I was very pleased to find a nice selection at Gelson's. My cashier Volga was so helpful, friendly and professional. Very pleasant visit!

Nice staff. Always stopped by to purchase something and get validated for the parking while shopping at the mall.

I LOVE this place! As a chef, I appreciate being able to get everything I need in one place. Excellent deli and bakery selection. Floral arrangements are beautiful. Definitely making this my go-to super market when I'm in the city.

Before the butcher left on Christmas Eve, he rushed to cut some skirt steaks for me. He really went out of his way, and we greatly appreciated it.

My favorite grocery store in Los Angeles. Great selection of high-quality meats, cheeses, produce and super-friendly staff.
