Go Go Market & Deli

This is the first business review that I can ever remember making, but I feel I owe it to Go Go to give credit where credit is due. I am a single mother that lives in downtown San Francisco on the street next to Go Go Market. Because I don't have the good fortune of having family nearby, I have become so appreciative of the village of support around me, especially places like Go Go. The guys at this store have never failed me, not once. I've been a resident of this neighborhood for about 8 years now and it can be quite the
s#!tshow to put it mildly. Anyone that cares about their neighbors and their neighborhood knows that we all have to look out for each other. That's how I feel about the guys at Go Go. Whether it's a specific kind of ice cream that I can rely on Go Go to keep in stock on those type of days when only ice cream can make it better, or just a friendly face to greet me when I walk through the door. It's not just surface level superficial politeness either, I genuinely feel looked after and safe in the company of the folks at this store who didn't turn a blind eye to a situation I was having with a problematic individual I was ending a relationship with. Any woman in a situation like that knows how common it is for people to say it's none of their business. The people at this place did not do that, which means a lot. This is a genuine family-owned business run by good people. Anyone that says otherwise probably deserved whatever they complained about. These guys deal with a lot on a daily basis and that in itself deserves recognition. Props to Go Go for going above and beyond 💖

These guys are the homies. Very good people and they have fresh sandwiches in their deli on standby. Way better than 7-11 quality food.

Prices are fair considering the area and they also have great variety of beer, liquor and grocery products. Normally they accept EBT as well.

This place has a good selection, the prices are okay although they could be a tad cheaper but if you want rock bottom prices you can walk 3 blocks down to 6th/Mission. They can be busy but have 2 counters that are always manned which keeps things flowing without a hitch.

Always alot of people here, but the deli food is good and the soft serve ice cream too. Not to mention, they have tons of snacks. Cereals, chips, gummies, pastries, candy, sodas, milks, bread. Large selection for a sweet tooth, although the building seems small.

Great customer service. They are very accommodating and make everyone who walks in feel welcomed. Affordable warm sandwiches

Tony was pistol whipped in front of his home, from what I understand, was put into a coma as a result. He died yesterday. Go-Go is closed until further notice. Beyond that please respect the families 🙏 privacy. Peace
