The Four C's

The cutest little store!!! The woman running the store is super sweet and very personable. She has two corgis, both of which are VERY adorable and too cute. There is a wide variety and selection of hiking items, equestrian things, normal daily items, etc. It’s a nice store to find lots of different things. Give it a look & visit!! They will be happy you stopped by.

They have Corgis to greet you at the front door!! They've got a huge collection on Dansko shoes, they've got tons of cute local shops. Its clean, cute and the ladies that work there are SUPER sweet, helpful and they really have a love for the community!

Probably my favorite shop in New Bern. The little old lady and her two corgis are soooo cute and sweet. The store has a great variety of trinkets and hiking gear.

Cool store with a ton of knick knacks as well as camping, equestrian, and other outdoorsy clothing and gear. The owner had two adorable corgis resting by the front door, so that was also a plus!

The Four C's is a local owned and operated business in downtown New Bern, NC for over 20 years. They have a nice selection of Unique Jewelry & Gifts, Great New Bern T Shirts, Camping & Hiking Supplies, Equestrian Products, and Ariat and Smoky Mountain Boots. They have friendly staff that assist you with the best clothing and gifts at the best prices.

Great, quaint, cute, little store. Went into shop for my husband's birthday gifts and bought several bear item's gifts and bear birthday cards. Fantastic Stuff! & great Store.

I always visit this shop when I visit New Bern! Wonderful selection and amazing prices. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable.

Cool local spot to get clothes and accessories. They have an extensive collection of Danskos and a good selection of Columbia products.

Very rude and cranky older lady working; likely the owner. No greeting when we entered the store, only gave curt/short answers when we asked questions, including when we asked about the store Corgi. Also, the store has a very strong stale odor

Warning - not friendly to service animals My boyfriend and I were exploring downtown and he had his service animal with him like normal. We had no issues with any shops until this one. When we walked in we made it maybe 3 steps before the store owner’s 2 corgis ran out and attacked his service animal. She was traumatized and bleeding so my boyfriend was focusing on trying to get her away from being bitten again. I went back in to request something to sanitize the wound and clean the blood and the initial store owners response was only “well that’s why we have a sign on the door that says no dogs allowed”

The said sign is not very large and does not mention that the dogs within the store are aggressive and not properly leashed. We honestly did not even see it walking in as someone had held the door open for us. It should definitely be much larger and signs in the window as well that there are aggressive dogs that will attack in the store.

Only after we were outside a couple of minutes cleaning her up did what I assume was one of the ladies behind the register come out and say sorry. But it just left a poor taste in our mouths that that was the initial response. Even regardless of it being a service dog, if you know your dogs are aggressive and will attack, there needs to be a better restraint put on them so they can not run out and attack someone.
