Galley Stores & Marina

We love Galley Stores! The employees and all staff rock! We love it here. Perfect location to got into town and walk anywhere. The cafe is a great place for breakfast and lunch.

Good stuff and gas! Love the Viv's Fridge outdoors!!! I've wanted to try Vivian Howard's food since watching her Chef and the Farmer journey on PBS. Even the reheat to go option born out of Covid Restaurant Closures does not disappoint!

This is a great little store for anyone downtown or staying at the nearby marinas. Clean bathrooms, nice wine selections and unique items made in North Carolina. We were on foot and the older gentleman was very helpful to us with our purchases so we could get it all back to the boat without too much trouble.

Staying in the marina for an extended stay and have nothing but great things to say about the staff and the marina. I called a mile out and was met by the dock hand (sorry I cant remember his name but he looks like Santa). I was single handed so he helped with all of my lines and was very nice about it. The staff has been very helpful as well. The bathrooms are a bit of a walk if you are on the North end of the marina but after looking in the mirror I should probably be walking a few miles to the restroom.... I do wish they had laundry on site but there is a laundromat not far. I hear they have a pick up service.

Have never stayed at the marina but we frequent the store on a weekly basis. Staff is great. Always friendly. We get breakfast from here at least once a week and are never disappointed. The mango smoothie is amazingggg as are the donut holes. We usually get a BLAT or a BYOB sandwich. They also stock household essentials which is really convenient. Highly recommend this little gem!

I just really like this store. We go mostly for the peanuts and Ashe county cheese, also really good selection of spreadable cheeses, but they also have a nice variety of other things. They are one of the places I can find mamasitas nacho chips and they are soooo good. The folks there have always been friendly and helpful.

Sailed into New Bern for a couple of days and docked in a transient slip at Galley Stores and Marina. The floating docks were in great shape, as was the clean restroom/shower room. The store had everything one might need. Mark, the owner, and Stan were extremely attentive and helpful. They even suggested we move to another slip when the winds picked up and Stan helped us walk the boat over since motoring would have been difficult due to the wind and current. Wonderful folks and a great location. Highly recommend!

Great little stop in New Bern. It looks like a regular gas station on the outside but on the inside they have quite the selection of unique foods and trinkets.

The marina is pretty nice two. They have a pump out, fuel dock and affordable slip rental.

very cool spot! Right downtown on the water with a great selection of wines, beers, and NC made products. Friendly Service with a smile, couldnt ask for more. I highly recommend!

Only place in town that offers a good Albarino

Wonderful store on Front Street New Bern that is really a hidden treasure. They feature an excellent wine selection and a nice assortment of gourmet foods that you will not find in the area. The staff is polite and very helpful.

Love this place. Great beer selection friendly employees. Convenient and place to sit with river view.

After several trips to the store for odds and ends, we’re thinking of moving our boat to this marina…store owner has been very cordial every time we’ve been in for shopping.👍🏻

We love this place. The wine tastings are great and they have a great selection of wine and snacks. They are also pup friendly!

I have stayed here on my boat for the past several years when I come to New Bern. Good place with a nice store, friendly staff, and several good restaurants within a short walk or at the Marina.

The sandwiches my husband and I purchased were very tasty & huge!

Went to the Marina. To watch the boats and chill good walking and moderate exercise area.

It's worth stopping in...great adult beverage variety...nice munchies/hors'd'oeuvre...and frozen meals by Lady Fingers. Good provisions for boaters and land lubbers alike.

Really helpful staff. Great place to dock and reprovition. Someone knows there wines but the best part was the prices. Thanks
