I like the clearance section in here. The other jewel in elgin doesn't have one. I find good deals here

It's just a great store to shop at. I live in Arkansas now, and they have Kroger nice grocery store, but it does not compare to Jewel. Especially on some items, buy one, get one free. A way to stock n save.

Had what I wanted,needed for snacks and drinks and food etc

I come here to get hot food when the other jewels on Larkin doesn't have any or they are taking too long to make something the staff here is always very nice anytime I've been told a time period to wait whether it's 10 or 15 minutes I can shop around come back and the order that I asked for is bagged and ready never had an issue i would like to thank the deli and hot food staff for always being courteous and dedicated

my favorite pharmacy. The service is awesome at Jewel, they even order items just for me. It is really great to be treated so nicely at my local store and better yet are the rewards program, especially with prices now! My last shopping day I bought over $300 of products and only had to pay $150.

Shout out to Maddy in the deli for giving me 2 grilled chicken patties after they closed. She stopped from scrubbing trays and saved me from eating Burger King or taco hell. She's very nice and has great white nails. Talk about phenomenal customer service.Give this young woman a raise, management.

This is my go to store. They have the best deals on milk anywhere and the meat is Superb at the deli. Staff are always very friendly and helpful with anything you need. So keep it up and keep me coming back!

This is our local Jewel and we've been coming here for years. Always clean and organized- They do a great job of keeping the lines short, the produce fresh, and my wife is friends with pretty much half of the staff :D They have the friendliest, most helpful employees around!

This five star review only happened because of the cashier Nathan. I’ve never much cared who my cashier was, but I go out of my way to go through his line. He’s a good man. He can navigate a situation as well as any manager. Here’s how I know...

Once I was in line behind a woman who was trying to do some kind of coupon scam. She was trying to bully Nathan into letting her. Nathan had obviously been advised on what to do with this customer and he did it. She called a manager who came over and approved whatever it was she wanted because the manager said she “didn’t wanna deal with her right now”. I get it. I wouldn’t wanna deal with her. But now you’ve undermined your cashier who is the front line on these things. So a kid was able to follow policy when a manager couldn’t. I told him I’d right this review and here we are.

I like shopping Jewel/Osco for the variety of products and weekly sales. The app is helpful so I can load sale items onto my grocery list and check off as I shop. Sales people on the floor are very friendly and helpful. Also, really liking the new self-check out registers. Much roomier and makes checking out quick and easy.

Landen the cashier was extremely nice and helpful! We greatly appreciate him working so hard for the customers!

Self checkout is always easy, and the staff is friendly. Jewel has been a go-to for our family for over half a century. The "O" products are great quality and reasonably priced, and the Monopoly game is fun to play.

I only went into the store to buy toilet paper hand soap and dish soap and went to the self checkouts no problem whatsoever very nice tour

I went to jewel here on Larkin, as a usually do. Of all the times I have never had nor good or bad experience with customer service. On this particular day, June 9th, I had the hands down best customer service I've ever truly had better customer service than I did today. An an Employee working there around 1pm by the name of Dan, went above and beyond to help me not only find everything I needed, not just one item but multiple items i needed as well as helping me find jewel promotional deals on all my items. He walked the isles of jewel with me as he asked me about my day and listened as we stopped. I'm 34 and totally not a people person but this gentleman is truly one of a kind. Usually I walk into jewel and employees avoid eye contact just to not help lol! Even though I'm visibly lost hahaha! But not Dan. He was awesome and I truly appreciate customer service like this. Especially on days like this when I'm truly stressed and running low on time. On a very stressful day Dan I hope you know you saved me from a migraine and a minor panic attack. You are very much appreciated.

The upgrades finally bring this jewel on par with the rest of the jewels I have been to. Their produce is good and varied. Large store with well stocked bakery. They have a great hot food and salad bar now as well.

Convenient and easy to get in and out of. They carry excellent quality fruits and vegetables. Decent prices.

Pharmacy staff very friendly and attentive.

I love this store. But you need more checkout lines. Checking out is a long process but you can make new friends cus the line so long. And they have children at cashier. They have to call the adults to check out the boozers like me. Get 21 year olds tp check us out so we can get home while the beer is still cold

People are friendly some prices are good deals huge selection of alcohol melatonin is cheeper and there open tell 12 some of there stuff over price like my other store

Our go to grocery store for a variety of foods. The fresh baked Italian style bread from the bakery section is our favorite.
