My kid nerds out at this place, and I love seeing him in his own wheelhouse. He tries to school me, and I let him.
Kyle was super helpful as I had many questions. Thank you for bridging the gap when we needed it.

Been going here for years and I absolutely love this store - both of them. Scott and Amber are awesome. I played FNM every Friday for many years at Ambers location in Hampton, and have played many pre releases/bought a lot of TCG from Scotts location in Newport news. Great people, great environment, great selections, great prices...always.

Everybody is friendly. You will find a lot of cool stuff in here. Card games, board games, comics, figures. You name it and you have it. Don't hesitate to ask them anything. They will help you find it.

My Experience:
My friend loves Magic (a card game) and I wanted to get him some cards for his birthday. I don't know much about the game, so I gave the two gentlemen working there a budget of $50 dollars, and asked them to help me find a good present. They observed that most players enjoy the rush of opening packs of random cards for the chance of gaining a rare (and usually valuable) foiled card. They then selected 10 card packs based on my budget, to optimize the chance of finding one of these rare cards.
The whole thing took only a couple of minutes and I now I have 10 presents for my friend instead of one. :)
I was pleased with my experience and will return if I need more nerd stuff.

Prices are fine, haven't stayed for an event yet which I plan to do so. Staff has been awesome. I wish I knew both the people that helped me, but I've been 4-5 times. I stop in with my girlfriend occasionally to buy Pokemon/Magic cards.

Shop is very clean and well organized. Shelves are stocked with good buys and prices are on par with most shops. Most of all the staff is helpful and genuinely friendly. A great place to go for new or experience gamers or collectors.

Singles are organized pretty well. If you're looking for older set bulk level cards this is the place to find them. Really friendly staff. Great patronage. The MtG singles inventory can feel a bit sparse (especially recent sets) and they don't keep a singles database even for high ticket cards. I'm not a customer of their comic/board game products, but I've heard only good things. They've also got plenty of active DnD and gaming groups of all varieties.

I love this store! The gentleman there helped me find a lot of back issues. He also made sure I had the latest comic guide for the upcoming months. They have an amazing Wonder Woman statue that I would love to have 😊

Great spot! I have been frequenting this location for well over 15 years now and I still look forward to going back every week. There and you will find a great selection of collectibles gaming and comic book related products as well as a very knowledgeable very friendly and very pleasant staff able and willing to help you with all of your questions and needs. This is my absolute favorite small business to support and I cannot recommend them any higher.

Honestly couldn't have asked for a better staff who is always professional. This place was amazing for me, I went regularly, had some of the best prices in the area, and always had everything I was looking for. Unfortunately I moved away, but this place will be something I miss. Thank you for being great, please never change.

I used to go to ACE when I was a teenager, NN and Hampton, and always had fond memories. I stopped in to check it out because I planned to bring my son back on the weekend and I just wanted to make sure everything was cool. Well, after talking comics with Joel for a good 45 minutes I ended up getting about $350 worth of books and left really happy. On saturday I brought my son and daughter and my son was floored with the store and my daughter was running around as excited as she could be. My son got his limit of $50 of books, he wanted about $200, and he was in hog heaven. Joel saw my daughter (she's 7) liked a lot of things but didn't really know what she was looking at so he came over to her and talked to her a bit, and then said you want to see something really cool? He took her over and showed her some my little pony / transformers books and she was hyped. She has had her grandma read them to her at least 10 times now. I spent about $170 that day. All the prices match the price guides and a lot of prices are even better. Huge selection to choose from both old school and new books In the back they have a huge space with tables that I assume are used for War Hammer, D&D etc. This is a proper comic book shop and you should definitely check it out. Joel was responsible for roughly $520 in sales and a repeat customer who just got back into comics with grownup money to spend, hook that man up 😁
