Parking is always available like the things I need so they have yet to fail me and the drive is worth it, every minute, knowing I can find it stocked for me to purchase and plenty more and there are little to no lines with long wait times as check out is always available

Needed to purchase a refrigerator as ours stopped working. Was happy that they had what we were looking for and they could deliver it in 2 days.

Apparently some Home Depot stores have a bad customer service rep, but I've always found their people to be friendly and helpful. It's my go to store for building or fixing anything. I've got other options in my backyard, but I always come back to Home Depot. Give them a try. You'll thank me.

I recently wrote a very honest and harsh review for the 24 hour Walgreens here in Elgin. So I thought I'd balance that out by writing an honest appraisal of a different Elgin store that has never let me down.

This Home Depot is perhaps quite possibly the store I visit most in this city. Sometimes I have an emergency and they have what I need, even at a late hour, to remedy it. Sometimes I'm simply getting in over my head with a project and this is the place I'll make multiple trips to in a day to get the project done.

Many times, I'm simply going to the Isle I know what I'm looking for is in. Sometimes, I've got a plan in my head and I'll find an employee to bounce my idea off of and they will almost always be able to guide me to the products they carry to help bring my idea to fruition. I say "almost" because sometimes my idea isn't always the best...

I wish I had names, and I plan to update this review with a few, but so many of them are incredibly helpful. Bending over backwards at times to help me out. And when one person doesn't know something, they will always make sure to pass me on to someone who does.

From the flooring section to the rental department. Randomly walking the floor to the staff at the checkout area. This is perhaps my favorite store to shop at. Hell, even the patrons are often friendly!

I’m always here. They have everything. Literally. There’s a clearance spot in the back for items they mark down. Today I picked up fabric softener 1/2 price.

This store has lots of variety and stock! Clean and organized store. And the cashier was very friendly and helpful.

RENTED A MINI EXCAVATOR! FUN TIME'S Tool rental guy knew what equipment was what (great customer service) but did not know how to work it. So if your a diy'er spend some time before you rent the machine going over the instruction manual. Then all you need is a steady hand! There is a learning curve

I just wish they were a little larger and carried more hardware items. Their tool prices are a bit pricey too. BUT, if you looking for good quality paint for a decent price this is where you should go!

Came in to get some baseboard. Thanks to Hugh and John for helping with the selection and cutting. These guys made the trip so quick and easy. Always a great experience when I come.

Had to get a hardhat and safety glasses. These guys had good options for low cost. My coworkers needed power tools and this home depot had everything they needed. Very convenient

Update: I have been looking for backsplash tiles everywhere.

I found these beautiful tiles at Home Depot after looking for months at other tile stores. Just couldn’t fine what I wanted. My tile man Kris said go to Home Depot- good price and nice products.

Omgosh, this back splash has totally completed my kitchen now. Looks gorgeous with my new quartz counters!! LOVE!!

What’s not to love about Home Depot!! I prefer Home Depot any day over Menards for knowledge and service!!

I bought several items at.Home Depot recently. The ordering was very easy with their web site. The items arrived way before they said. I was very pleased with that news and went there for curbside pickup. I was impressed. Thank you Home Depot.

Great home depot with a bigger selection than the South Elgin location. Definitely worth the few miles to come up to this one if you’re working on a big project.

Rental equipment is available and super convenient. The staff are really helpful and go out of their way to make things right if you have any issues.

My experience with Home Depot stores has been excellent every where I have lived all over the U.S. The Elgin store on Royal Blvd has always been a team of helpful people, always ready to look up some part you need, give advice about where to get something if they don’t have it, and their team in the rental center has saved me on many occasion when there was water in the basement. I would recommend this store to anyone.

Went in for some paint supplies and got help from a nice young man named Jacob. I was having trouble finding some spackle and he was kind enough to help me!

Staff was very helpful! Took me right to the products that I needed and helped me to understand installation.

Very nice workers! Seem to have good deals on grills and lawn mowers but I haven't made a purchase on either of those things yet. The employees are very knowledgeable and helpful though.
