The Local Game Store

I've been a yugioh player for a long while and a judge for the past 3 years. It's a very friendly community and staff that just want everyone to have a good time. Player base is very diverse. Allowing anyone to play any deck and do well.
Edit: My first review on this place was done over a year ago and I can happily say that it's even better than before with good players and kind staff.

This is the third time I've come here to play for a card tournament and we have had a blast every time!! The staff here are fabulous and are a wealth of knowledge. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to start getting into ANY kind of table top card game!

The owner here is super chill and the staff is friendly. Great community of players and a high energy environment. Highly recommend.

Best card game store in the DFW!!! The staff is great and will help you with any card game you play/want to get start playing! Plus if you sign up with their reward program...you can get free stuff! I've gotten like 5 booster boxes from just playing tournaments and buying products from them! There's a tournament every day of the week(except Sundays). Check them out and I promise you'll have a new favorite card store!

I had a good experience my first time there. People were friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed. I went for a pack per win pokemon tournament and had a great time. Free drink with participation and they got a nice selection too!

The staff was nice and they had a large selection of commons. They also had a large number of tables and comfortable chairs.

It's the best place I've ever been to play Yu-gi-oh. It's so nice to have people that care for the game just like you. People wanting to trade all the time plus the tournaments are so relaxed, not stiff and dramatic. The people are friendly and awesome and I love coming back every week

Cute game store. High marks for two bathrooms and copious amounts of table space gaming room. Higher marks for being open for folks to just come sit down and play. Small inventory of gaming related items (boxes, box sets, dice, starter packs, etc) and small selection of candy and chip bags. I really appreciate the local resource. Here's to more time spent playing games!

The Local Game Store is my number one spot for playing my favorite games like Pokémon and My Hero. They have the friendliest staff and I’ve even seen some top tier Pokemon players competing there on Thursdays. If you’re looking for a new hobby or looking to improve your game then check them out!

I've only been here a few times, but it seems like a very active gaming store. The whole store is geared towards playing, as there isn't much product to shop from. They also have a TCG Player store front so you can order singles from them or you can hand them a list and you can puy them in-store.

Fantastic place to play TCG, family friendly. Their tournaments are always fun and inviting. The staff is friendly and laid back as well as the other patrons. They are one of the few LGS that actually hold tournaments for games other then MTG or Yu-Gi-Oh. They also have the largest turn out for some TCG play, so if you are actually looking to hone your skills or play high caliber competition. This is the place to go. Best LGS in the Dallas/Arlington/Ft Worth region by far.

Visited this store for the first time a few days ago. Since I'm new to Magic The Gathering, I came here to look buy some cards and get more familiar with the game. Staff is very friendly, courteous, and honest about their products. Overall a very welcoming environment, and I'm happy to spend my money here.

Some of the most welcoming guys people I’ve met at an LGS and communicated well about current/future product. Can’t wait for One Piece to come out and play regularly here.

This is a great gaming store. The space at this store is great for gaming. The owner is beyond friendly and helpful. The restrooms are super clean. This is a hidden gem in the north Texas gaming community. The unsung hero is the chairs. Most places the chairs are low quality. But these are super comfortable. When you are gaming for hours chairs that have a great cushion go a long way!!!

Was nervous to go in the store, never played yugioh at a locals before. Didn't play but did buy some cards and Jose was nice to help me out.

Very good customer service . The Staff was patient and very helpful And finding the singles and supplies I was looking for Even Going as far as directing me to other players that may have the singles I was looking for when they did not

The owners of the store are great, specifically Andrew, who actually cares about the communities that come out and play. He’ll sit down and help new players learn games, as well as offering services such as concessions and memberships to the shop. The store is also located in a very convenient location which is always a plus! Please, if you have time or are interested, come check it out, even if you know nothing about gaming/trading cards!
