T.J. Maxx

Really nice reasonable priced store. They have herbs spices and decorations. Also a lot more variety than target or Walmart .

TJ Maxx has a great clearance section. I can’t believe all the items I purchased for just two or three dollars per item hoping to raise my granddaughter the clothes can get very expensive. This was an awesome place to go.

Good size TJ Maxx, good selection of makeup and beauty products, but be prepared to take time to look. There are sections, but you could find anything anywhere! Similar to a hunt at a thrift store.

Karin in the jewelry department was helpful, kindand patient but it would be nice to know there's more than 1 person working the jewelry section so you don't feel rushed at times.

The best TJ maxx in all of Chicagoland. I didn’t have my receipt but I got a picture of it and they went out of their way for my return! Joe the manager and milijana the cashier were so sweet and kind to help me.

Lot of good discounted outfits..friendly staff

This is one of my favorite places to shop. They have everything here and selection is always expanding. Depending on the time of year, you can find some pretty awesome things. The toy selection around Christmas is great and the kids clothing is awesome. I love the housewares area. A couple of things to know: 1) if you see something you like, grab it then and there. Otherwise the next time you go, it'll be gone. 2) this particular store seems to have quick inventory turnover. Things move in and out fast so they are constantly bringing in new items. I've literally been there one day and the next they had new things. Love it!

Swung by to see if there were any good post-holiday sales. This location is smaller than some of the others, so don't expect the same inventory levels as the larger locations. I would say their home goods section is smaller than the larger locations. Still plenty of great items to shop from and very convenient for anyone who lives on the north side.

I didn't shop here but I came to return a chair my wife purchased. It was easy in and easy out, which is all I care about. And as most anyone knows, you can always find the max for the minimum here. Finally, the kind lady at the counter who was helping me was very sweet and nice to deal with. Good times.

Nice clean store! Obviously loved the products. Quick check out experience with nice people. The stock in stores everywhere seems to be on the low end, so that’s the only critique I have!

Good like always for some last minute shopping.. and spend time with family

Lots of choices in every dept. Plenty of winter coats and clothes. Everything is well organized and clearly priced. Lots of holiday gift ideas too.

This location is my favorite! I love coming to shop here i always end up finding so many amazing deals. It's also well organized and clean.

This is my favorite TJ Maxx in Chicagoland. Perhaps it's because I like a few designer brands that is not carried on their website, but is often found at this location. I don't have much luck at other stores. The employees are friendly and the store is clean and we'll stocked.

This is about the only place that has clothes my size. Meaning, the average dad-bod male in his thirties. The jeans always fit, and I always find a matching shirt. All total under the price of a T-Shirt at a fancy retail store... They mostly have nice clothes, but every season they have some peculiar items too. I once saw a kayak for sale there, kid you not...

I stopped in to the TJ Maxx on Dempster Avenue near Harlem Avenue to get a few items including a new purse, and some clothes for work. I found the store to be well-organized, I was able to find everything I needed. They have an enormous selection of purses and shoulder bags, and I appreciate that they have their purses separated by Style. Shorter strap purses in one section and longer, across the shoulder satchels in another section. The checkout was very easy as they had very many cashiers working that night and they were all friendly and cheerful.

Found some awesome 4th of july flip flops for my girls that they love! However, when we walked in the door, the woman there sent us to the completely wrong section of the store for shoes.....and apparently she's been there for a while.

I went to the store in Morton Grove and was totally blown away it's nothing like our store here in algonquin. The store has to be five times the size of ours, extremely organized and whoever is doing the merchandising setup it's much better than ours. There's so much more . Everything is laid out beautifully. Going from one aisle to the next is inviting. Our store is kind of like a thrift situation there is very little compared to the Morton Grove store. It was a new experience and I've always enjoyed TJ Maxx and HomeGoods and have always found the TJ Maxx is just slightly less expensive than homegoods. The spice section could use a few more items in all of the stores and I love their spices... I'm still amazed at how beautiful the Morton Grove store was inside the outside not so much. But then the stores are all in outdoor malls for the most part. The section for hair Care was astounding. I found things that I haven't seen at our small stores in Crystal Lake in Algonquin for a very long time. I'm sure if the owners of t.J Maxx would consider a larger store here they could consolidate the two stars between Crystal Lake and algonquin. We have empty stores that are larger. I really enjoyed TJ Maxx but this experience in Morton Grove was wonderful
