This was the most organized and beautiful store I have ever been to. It's huge and packed with groceries, super clean. As I entered the store one of the managers was at the front door and greeting people. The store smells so fresh and if you just name anything, you will be able to find it there. Very convenient location as well. This will be the go-to location from now on.

Great deli! Night guy, Steve, he's excellent! Knowledgeable, friendly, quite handsome, worth the trip just to talk to him. His fried chicken is the best!!

Vons is too good. We stayed in San Diego for about a week and kept going back here. It has all the stuff you would expect a big grocery store to have and it was all well stocked. There’s a good reason Vons has such a big presence in SoCal.

Come here often. The fried chicken here is amazing. Staff in the deli is pretty cool. There is the one lady who always has an attitude but I’ve come to except that she is who she is and oh well. Was in today and all the wipes were SOLD OUT because of the germ craze that is going around. Foolishness if you ask me.

This is hands down the nicest Vons I've been to. With a courtyard entry way and market split to 2 sides, it's clean and unique.

Most interesting Vons I have been in. A beautiful courtyard, store is split into two sides. Not a big deal. Got a little lost trying to find the entrance, ha right in front of me. Halls are amazing

Amazing!!!! Customer service from Mary....she is truly a champion.
No matter what you need or ask for, she will help you until the checking out!
I have been shopping at Vons for over 30 years on which I have meet few employees that are proud to help the consumers with joy.
I have to say something about Mary since sha has retain my business with this particular store en Point Loma. If she wouldn't provide her service I most likely would of taken my business somewhere else (in the area).
Few bad experiences at the deli in particular are the culprits of not only me leaving but, of at least 6-7 other friends/coworkers that I brought to do business here because of Mary!
If the store/district or region manager sees this post, please acknowledge the message and do something to provide the same customer service across the board.

Great location. , I found this Vons by chance and it definitely has the number one spot for the mango habanero chicken. Coronado is a close second.

Awesome place, my 1st time here, but my husband has been here before. Not very expensive and glad to hear that Vons is part of Shaw's. Cashier was very friendly esp with the newly downloaded app we made!

This is the first time my wife and I come to this one, we keep two times into it because we were having a convention really close to the Vons. It was really nice everybody was very helpful the story was super clean there's nothing extra to say but to say that everything is very accessible and we always find the person at the counter especially at the Starbucks store always smiling and even though sometimes he had a long line he took care of all of us with a smile and did an excellent job with everything we order. Will I come back to the store again yeah I will my wife and I are having a convention in the next couple months around there too again so we will stop by there for sure to get her breakfast and some of her drinks so we can take with us. There's plenty of parking for handicap as well as a lot of different products and great customer service.

This is a very clean Von's (which is Safeway and Albertsons depending on where you are in the US) with an excellent wine selection to include the Hello Kitty red and white wines and a nice selection of picnic canned wine.

I like stopping by this Vons when I head home sometimes. Good place to grab some items. I love how it's clean and organized all the time. Plenty of check out stations and can quickly grab and go without waiting in line.

Visiting fro m out of town and staying at a local hotel that we needed food to cook a meal! This place was busy and very cool as it had two buildings!! Bought meat and seafood and the quality was great! The selection of all items were wonderful and the store was clean.

I give it three stars for the grocery market being divided into two halves with a central "courtyard", of sorts. Meats, deli, and produce is in a separate building from the frozen foods, chips, beverages, etc, requiring you to strategize your trip to the grocery store to avoid a bunch of backtracking from one building to another. However, when you learn the store, the establishment is well organized, and clean. Start your shopping on the left side and work your way back to the right side for the remaining items, and the registers. I give it 5 stars for customer service.

This store is built in a historical part of San Diego where it had to be divided into 2 sides with a courtyard separating them, and checkout is limited to one side, so you start your shopping visit on the north side, cross through the courtyard area and enter the other half the store to continue and finish up by checking out in the front of that section. Dairy, bakery, produce, and deli are all situated on the north side, where there is also a Starbucks kiosk, and all other groceries, including alcohol products and the pharmacy. There is no self checkout, and this particular Vons doesn't carry quite as much selection as some of the others. I still value shopping there however, and it's a great asset to the harbor area of San Diego.

Located in Liberty Station. Great customer service here! Especially at the pharmacy and bakery.
This Von's has a unique floor plan in that everything "fresh" (veggies, meat, bakery, dairy, deli, Starbucks) is to the left of the entry courtyard, and everything canned, frozen, or otherwise preserved is on the right side. This is also where you will find the pharmacy (be advised that they close for lunch) and check-out.
The store is clean, staff is helpful, and prices are standard for one of the nicer grocery stores in town. Plenty of free parking!

This is my favorite vons in the area! It's large and I can almost always find everything I need. The employees are especially helpful when you ask. I've never had a bad experience! It is split with two sides with a small seating area/courtyard in the middle but that doesnt bother me at all. All the fresh departments are on the left and then dry goods/frozen/alcohol is on the right.
