One of the very few Indian grocery stores in the city. They have just about everything you need for your daily Indian cooking needs.

I wish they could be slightly bigger, but they squeeze a lot into a small store.

Produce is very light, they stock a few things like potatoes, onions, eggplant, okra, tomatoes (for some reason they put their tomatoes in their fridge, when you shouldn't do that, Google it).

A good selection of premade meals in pouches and the freezer section can be found here too.

Small store but don't be fooled - they have a fantastic variety of products at excellent prices!

I am from India from my parents by blood, but American born here, if you are interested in trying some easy to heat frozen zesty microwave dishes as say an American wanting to experience, the Indian frozen foods retain their natural quality unlike many other frozen foods, especially the ones made here in our USA. After heating, will taste almost as if freshly cooked by an experienced Indian. It's worth a try, but then you're off to the Indian Restaurants so be prepared.

This place has just opened up recently in place of what used to be Mission Picnic right before that.

Finally an imported goods store in the neighborhood! For those exotic groceries from the Indian subcontinent!

The staff is very nice and helpful. The shelves are stocked. It seems to have a good selection - see for yourself. I hope they do well!

I have been here twice. I came back the second time because 1) the quality of the spices were excellent; 2) they have fresh curry leaves!; 3) the proprietor was super nice and helpful both times - and even remembered me two weeks later in spite of wearing a mask for covid. Really great selection in a pretty small space. Good vibes here. Highly recommend. Please bring your custom to this excellent store!

Good Indian grocery store to get what you need. They have a very large selection of spices and staple vegetables in Indian cuisine so you don’t necessarily have to make a double stop to a different store. They also had some home goods and decor. Overall, good store and they accept cash only.

Came here to hunt some big game during our Indian food safari. Found the paneer and a number of other interesting things. Proprietors are very friendly as is the atmosphere in the store. Another shopper (of Indian descent) helped us out with tips how to prepare the food we bought.

They have a really big selection and it isn't quite as crowed and disheveled as some other markets of this sort. The staff was attentive and helpful in finding specific ingredients. They even have spices that are not Indian, such as Sichuan peppercorn. I ordered a package of Malabar parota which is a favorite in my house. I will surely be coming back frequently!

Came in here yesterday to buy a handful of things. I was told that I could leave my skateboard propped up in one of the aisles and that it would be safe there. Love this place already.

The name says it all. Narrow rows packed with spices, grains, condiments and sauces. I like to buy the spice mix for, say, chana masala, and simplify an Indian dish I wouldn't try cooking otherwise (though they've got endless bags of individual spices if you're going that route). Not big enough to be a one stop shop, but they are excelling at what they're doing. Prices for spices are internet competitive--got almost a pound of mustard seed for $4.99.

This is an awesome addition to the South Asian community of San Francisco, and for anyone else who loves to cook or eat Indian food, is vegetarian, or just likes to grab an interesting snack, now and again.

The shop is physically small, but has a diverse stock of goods, representing many different regions of India. For example, I saw South Indian red rice for payasam and sambar powder; Nepalese staples and herbs and spices; as well as Golden Temple (among several brands) atta flour and Punjabi wadi. They also have fresh Indian veggies like karela melon and curry leaves. Plus the refrigerator has lots of different sweets, dosa and idli batter, rose drinks, kulfi, and so on. There's just about every spice or dal you could name.

The store proprietor is friendly and takes requests for items if you can't find them on their shelves (they're growing their stock). Prices are reasonable (competitive with South Bay, I'd say), despite the scarcity of Indian grocers in the city. Show these guys some love!

Just the perfect little spot for desi groceries. Check out their humongous collection of nimko/chevda: the Navrattan mix is delicious!

5 Star Indian Groceries! Both a wide selection of raw spices and premade spice mixes plus some vices like Hot Chaat mixes and tea biscuits plus a small selection of specialty vegetables to boot. And dosa batter!
