My daily go to place for Vanilla Cappuccino ☺. Awesome staffs. They have a seating area outside to relax with a cup of coffee enjoying the bay view.

Great place to stop and grab some goods for ball games. Staff is friendly, which makes up for the price. Bathroom does close during baseball games - can’t blame em.

I love this place. They always have what I need for a recipe if I forgot something, awesome grab and go items, and affordable organic wines. Good place to grab a couple road sodas. Plus, they're open on Mondays!

The dolmas are some of the best I've had. The tabbouleh salad that's part of the taste of the Mediterranean sampler is really good too. In their deli they have small sides like pasta salad and marinated mushrooms, fresh sandwiches, wraps, breakfast burritos, fruit & yogurt parfaits, and a ton of vegan and vegetarian options.

Great deli, salad bar, grab and go section and fresh produce.

Visited for the first time and was very pleasantly surprised by how great a market this is. Always saw the store when walking to Oracle 🏞.

Lots of good groceries, fruits and vegetables, drinks, etc. They will sell a single bottle of 🍺 too.

Great deli with sandwiches. Tried their special which was a Genoa Salami sandwich. Lots of 🍞 options. Chose a dutch crunch 🍞 and the sandwich was super delicious!

Will be back for more sandwiches in the near future!

I have lived nearby for just over 5 years now, I feel it is time for my review.
This staff has kept me alive and well for all 5 of those years, and especially so in the recent years. I especially value the hot meals from the lovely ladies behind the counter - some of which my favorites range from grandma type recipe filipino dishes, salmon, and ribs for heavier days. The salad bar (not offered currently w/ pandemic) is also favorite. It serves well as a neighborhood bodega, though the prices are difficult at times to navigate.
I love supporting these people and wouldn't have it another way, love them! Always greet me with friendliness and am happy to call some of them my friends

Really like this place, lots of selection of the best things including an amazing salad bar! Frankly I like it much better than any Whole Foods salad bar because it's very well stocked and typically in immaculate condition. All the staff is very friendly and helpful when needed.

Outstanding neighborhood bodega with good selection and reasonable prices in a clean and well run shop. A great range of basic staples through foodie-items for the available space. I started coming here during the pandemic, and I'll keep coming back when it's over.

Yes, it's pretty expensive. But it's so close to Bayside village (same building). The variety and quality are pretty good. The staff is nice. So usually I go to Trader Joe's which has more variety and lower prices. But when I need something quick, I don't hesitate to go here. Very good store right on the Bayside village premises.

Love the store staff. Always helpful. Called them to confirm if the produce is coming from Thomson given the Salmonella outbreak. They confirmed and reassured. Awesome service!

Cashier Nicole is so friendly. Her smile makes my day. Great selection at this little market!

Great place that has a lot going on! If you need something chances are we have it! Great friendly people with with smiling faces and chances are I will be your cashier when you come in and I will make sure that you have a pleasant experience I always have a smile on my face 😊

Good location, deli sandwiches are superb,

I love Bayside Market. They have everything. Everything. While they are a little pricier than other spots, you can buy shampoo, liquor, fresh fruit, and get an amazing panini all in one place. Seriously, their sandwiches are killer. And you can buy beer, wine and liquor... and ground meat. They have a small outdoor seating area, and the cashier is so funny and friendly. Definitely stop by.

Great local corner store!!! One of the few awesome places in the city to grab a quick bit and enjoy by the bay. Amazing staff, from Ronald, Matthew, Nicole, and the rest (forgot names) !!

Small but has all the essentials and—perhaps most surprisingly—really good (fresh) meat and fish. The salmon seems to be better and fresher than what you get at Whole Foods!

This place may be a grocery store, but it is a great place to get lunch and eat outside. Every conceivable food is available here, and it is good quality. I enjoy eating outside and share my food with the local birds.

They have a good variety of food and snacks, and I absolutely love all the food in their deli. They once had fettuccine alfredo with chicken meatballs and it was the best I've ever had!

Friendly staff, a great salad bar, and simple hot meals. Usually have chicken and rice available. Outdoor seating, with views of the Bay, the same as Cento Osteria, which is next door.

@robertson I was in the store when your incident occurred. What you fail to disclose is the perfectly valid reason the store manager gave you as to why it was shut, and apologised for the confusion

Also and most importantly you fail to mention the aggressive and abusive attitude the person you were with had towards the staff, including wanting the staff member in question publically chastised for making a mistake, screaming, shouting and being disruptive, bringing the whole store to a halt, with multiple customers waiting to be served, which is why she was eventually told the police would be called.

I know you weren't there for most of this (as you were busy dealing with your immediate issue!)

I can also appreciate the stress when you need 'to go' but I feel (as someone who is nothing more than a happy customer there) that I should give the alternative viewpoint from someone that was there at the time.

I can't imagine you will agree with me, but at least anyone else reading this now has both sides of the story.
