Personal Experience:

I absolutely love this store! My first few times visiting I had no idea what I liked and what I wanted to get. Rene has helped me every single time. He gives great recommendations and explains the wines in detail for people like me who have no idea of the difference. I want to use this review to thank Rene for all the help he has provided with wine selection for me over the past few months. He has definitely changed my perspective on what I drink. He deserves all the praise and a raise!

Overall Review of the Store:

The staff is knowledgeable and friendly-the store is always stocked and clean. They remind you of the app deals and show patience when helping customers. Love our local total wine and more! See you next month for my fridge stock up.

If you like, and or need spirits, or anything related, look no further, this is the holy grail of liquor stores.
Even have a high end cigar room.

I’m a Grand Reserve member and I love this Total Wine. Staff very friendly, management is very attentive and the selection is always robust. Anytime I’m tempted to buy a spirit anywhere else I always give the price the “Total Wine Test” by comparing its price to what it’s currently selling for at Total Wine on their app. It’s always a better price at Total Wine!

Omg this place!! Can’t recommend enough!! Has everything you can possibly imagine and more! I came here looking for some Korean Wines like my Soju, Good Day is my favorite! But found my Tank 7 beef! It’s a must! Lots of options and tastings!

The staff here are very knowledgeable. If you happen to ask something a staff member doesn't know, they usually immediately know who to ask on staff that day to answer a question or offer a recommendation. Wonderful selection. Budget extra money to buy things you'll need but never knew existed before seeing it here (I spent $30 on bitters I never knew existed in addition to the cardamom bitters I went there to buy).

This is my go to place to get alcohol. We decided to try a wine tasting and it was really fun and informative.

They have a huge selection of wines and a large selection of beers and liquors. The layout of the store is well thought out. With the tasting counters, it has more of a vineyard visiting experience as opposed to just being a store. We were very happy with their imported beer, Lambic, and cider pricing, which was about 20% cheaper than our last visit to BevMo. There were lots of employees roaming around and eager to help. If you ask where you can find something, they just don't tell you, they take you there and stay to see if you need any other assistance. Hopefully they'll open more stores throughout San Diego county.

Excellent selection of wine, beer, and spirits. Salespeople are helpful with selections. Also lots of accessories from glassware to cocktail onions. Fun place to shop and browse.

Was in this location 08/29/2023 and found everything I needed with no issue. I have been here a couple of times because I can always find what I need.
When my friend and I got to the register to start checking out, Tia (our cashier) was extremely helpful. She helped us take advantage of a deal we overlooked as well as gave us some insight about the app.
I usually have a good experience in this location, Tia made this experience great with her awesome customer service. My friend and I were very appreciative of that.

Amazing place. Huge selection. I was looking for a very obscure Portuguese liquor and they had it! The staff was super helpful and extremely knowledgeable

Forget other liquor stores. This one has EVERYTHING. It's my stop for my usuals and also for new and excited liqueurs to try out. My tip: try the peanut butter whiskey. I promise it's better than you think.

A good place to find not only what you need but they really are a user friendly business that will work with you if you bought the wrong alcohol. The prices aren’t bad compared to liquor stores.

I’m so happy with the new Total Wine & More now here in San Diego, it just opened last month. The store is elegant and spacious with a wide variety of wine, beer and spirits. The prices are about what you would expect similar to their competitors. When I’m down in SD, I will be dropping by on occasion.

Had to ask an employee where a wine was she told us 1 aisle and came running up said she was wrong and gave us the right location. Great service to come back and correct the mistake
