The Vitamin Shoppe

I was sad after coming back from a GNC. They disrespected me and violated my emotional health in soooo many different ways. It brought back traumatic memories from my past. I was having a sad and long day.

Until I walked into the vitamin shop and met Danny, Edgar and he who shall not be named. These guys brought back fond memories of my glory days as I got the supplementation I needed. I was able to bench press 405 and run 3 miles in 13:05 because of these gents immaculate customer service.

If there was an example for what true customer service is, this vitaminshop is it. An emulation of perfection. Truly made me cry out of joy that my lifelong journey for happiness was over. Thank you Vitamin shoppe. You have my heart over GNC .

This is my 1st time going to this Vitamin Shoppe and service was great.
The two ladies/women that helped me were nice.
It's a bit further drive from where I live but they were the only Shoppe that had what I needed.

Excellent place for ALL your vitamin and natural medicine needs. I love that I can get my Vitamin C here and essential oils. They have sales pretty often so I will keep an eye out for one when I need to re-stock. They have every vitamin/mineral/supplement, etc you could ever want!

I thought that The Vitamin Shoppe was well stocked with a large selection of different vitamins, protein supplements and powders. They had many different types of the most popular vitiamin and mineral enriched drinks, snacks and dried foods.
I spent several decades with a dresser drawer chocked full of every kind of vitamin and mineral supplement imaginable, of which I had researched thouroughly and thus believed that the ones that I took on a daily basis were beneficial to my health. I was also a devoted member of my local YMCA and not only worked there as a pool lifeguard, children's swimming instructor and surf camp director but, participared in a number of individual sports; to include bicycling, step aerobics, mechanized assisted weight machines, walking, lap swimming and surfing. I believed that this helped me maintain my health today, at 70 years old.
I still stongly support this lifestyle however, I eventually injured my back and my injury progressed to severe osteoarthritis.
I never thought that my medical treatments were adequate, as it was easier and more profitable for my doctors to prescribe me powerful opiate painkillers.
I eventually had surgery but, instead of a spinal fusion, the surgeon at UCSD - a doctor Robert Taylor - who was supposedly late for my surgery, preformed an unsuccessful "experimental surgery" that was a dismal disaster.
The last time that I saw Dr. Taylor, was at the Scripps Green Center and when he walked by me, he said, "I'm sorry Mr. Doe(pseudomum)that we couldn't take your pain away." A statement that I still remember to this day!
From that point on, no matter what was done, my condition got progrssively worse and I became another forgotten opioid ( Oxycontin / Oxycodone ) test subject. They even put an intracathedral pump inside of me and used medicines that Medical labeled as illegal.
When I made a decison to have the pump removed, it took one more year to remove it.
I often wonder why these proceedures were even allowed and why I couldn't even find an attorney to help me here in San Diego?
I would certainly recommened The Vitamin Shoppe to anyone, as a way to supplement their healthy diet. I've been a vegan - although only about 80% - for several decades now and think that what you eat is very important to your health. In fact some say "that you are what you eat?"
I never smoked cigarettes, rarely ever imbibe and although I supported the legalization of marijuana, I really never got into it.

Jenna did a great job at finding the correct supplement I needed and also educated me on a lot I didnt know ! Thanks again VS and Jenna!
