The UPS Store

I began using the Highway 1, Iowa City, UPS Store location many years ago shortly after it opened. I used their mailbox service for a while and found that helpful for receiving packages from various carriers. Amazon returns are easy. If you stop by during a busy lunch hour, there may be a line. When it gets busy they will sometimes have extra employees available with one person carrying a portable scanner to speed up the process.

Stopped in for the first time today, wasn't sure if I was going to be able to ship without a label printed or item packed. The place was running like a well oiled machine, everyone super professional and knowledgeable, friendly attitudes. A young woman walked down the short line getting people started, when I got to the front everything was all set and I just had to hand them my items. It was as easy and pleasant as could be.

Exceptional service! They packaged a large painting I needed to ship for a very reasonable price (do not even try to do this yourself) and I could not have been happier or more impressed with the quality of their work. So appreciated and highly recommended!

Super friendly and professional staff. I ship everything through this branch. I also ordered invitations - printed and cut - that turned out amazing!! The invitations were also HALF the cost of any other print company, AND I had them within 2 business days. Very impressed with this store!!!! I’d give 10 stars if I could!

The young man working there ( I wish I would have got his name) was absolutely wonderful! He was courteous professional and very helpful to me as I fiddled with my phone to retrieve a return code. This store has always been a great experience for my wife and I. Plus they were safe during the height of COVID. Always polite during busy times as well.

I have been going to this spot for over 2 years whenever i need to ship something out or get any packing supplies. I love this place. Everyone is super friendly and helpful.

They also have this shredding service that i like to use once every year. I just bring my old documents/bank statement over and they would help to take care of them.

Besides there are nice restaurant around which provides good food. Once I am done with my shipping, I would explore the area and get some tasty diversified food.

Too bad that i have to move away from this town. I would always miss this place.

Always quick and they always knkw what to do. When I have questions about a return they always are very helpful.

Wonderful staff! I didn't realize that the least expensive a UPS shipment could be is about $10. But the staff here did everything they could to save me money and were very considerate of my needs and the needs of the package.

I noticed that in the review before me someone. I'm not sure if he got different people than I do but I know they don't charge for computer time if you're printing a UPS (United Parcel Service) label BUT they do charge you if you're printing a USPS (United States Postal Service) label or anything else. I confused the two as well the first time I went in.

Every time I've been there the space has been clean and the service has been prompt. Would recommend!

Two times now I have visited this UPS store for its unique services. The first time I needed an item notarized. The second time I needed to print a large document in both black and white. Behold, both times, I was assisted by Todd, who struck me with his professionalism, patience, acumen and great personality. You will not be disappointed by him or this store. Thank you.

Where do I start? I shuffled into the UPS store with 4 boxes of high value items and requested UPS to package and ship them. They advised the latest it'll go out is Monday (this was Wednesday) and I felt hesitant however I had left thinking it was just a normal way of life. The buyer of my items quickly decided that Monday shipping was not going to work and that he will be out of town and threatened to cancel the payment. I came back to the UPS store the following day and asked if Monday was a true estimate. Ben was beyond helpful and re accomplished some measurements and said he'll try and make it work as best he can and believed he could get 1 of the 2 packages out Thursday afternoon and the other Friday afternoon. To my surprise he sent an email what appeared to be after hours that him and his team had accomplished packaging both and they had been shipped! I've since learned my lesson and will be calling the store to estimate a packaging/shipment date in the future. Ben and this UPS store made this shipment as painless as possible and I can't thank them enough! I'm unsure if Ben is a manager or not, but without a doubt having a manager like Ben in your corner will only make this business more successful!

The store staff is super easy to work with. I needed my notarization done for work and the staff was knowledgeable, professional, and fast! Come to this location if you need the notarization done in town.

These people really are the best at customer service. They went over and above to help me successfully get an overnight perishable package to Charlotte NC. It not only arrived on time but their expertise in packing the item was perfection. Thank you so much. You are my "go to" packaging store.

I asked this store to pick up a hutch, package it, and send it 1500 miles away. The hutch was old and contained old glass. They picked it up and packaged it in a very secure way. It obviously took some time to pack it. I received it all in one piece. There was a delay in getting it shipped, but once it was, I received it quickly. Thank you Todd! I would highly recommend this store.

Ben is a very kind worked who made sure my package got to where it needed to go. This store is very easy going, only negative could be the parking lot. In my experience short lines if any and swift service!!
