Staff is extremely helpful, they helped me find every book I was looking for.
The place could use some updating and maybe some areas to sit and look through books for a bit before purchasing, prices are reasonable on most books, some a little high but not bad. All of the staff were very pleasant.

This bookstore has quickly become one of my favorites, they always have a good selection, and their dollar bargain shelves are amazing. The employees are always very kind, and I can’t wait to go back!

Delightful second hand bookstore, perfect for the bookworm who hoards and savors books and stories. A bookwyrm if you will.

One does not go into a shop like this knowing what they want and expecting to find it. One goes into this shop with an open mind, to spend some time allowing the books to speak to you, and you will find that the book you NEED will make itself known.

Two floors of tomes, don't forget to go downstairs to see their entire inventory.

Staff was extremely helpful, even when both my husband and I got a little over excited and had WAY too many questions for them. 10/10, will visit again, but only once I have allocated cash for the trip so I am not able to add more to my book hoard than I can afford.

This store is awesome... Always worth a visit... The "free book" rack out front can have some teal treats. I myself scored an entire set of Encyclopedia Britanica 2 weeks ago! Thanks 2nd Look Books!

This is unquestionably one of the greatest used book stores in Washington State. Their selection ranges from mainstream to wildly eclectic; I have discovered many long-forgotten masterpieces and authors among their stacks, books I haven’t found anywhere else, but they also have new bestsellers alongside the out-of-print treasures. Their fiction and history sections are enormous, and their basement floor features deep-dive choices among any subject you can think of. You can spend hours wandering through this bookstore, and you should.

Very cool little book store. Have used them several times, called ahead and both times they had the books and held them for me. Super helpful and nice folks and good pricing. Will use in the future.

Huge selection of books including newer books. I was impressed at how organized they keep all the books. Very easy to browse or to look for something specific!

The employees make this place special, in addition to the always changing inventory. The staff are knowledgeable and don't mind spending the extra time needed helping anyone who may need it. I did a book trade in (policy is 12 books accepted per trip, but you can always donate more) which grants you store credit if value is determined. Great to have this resource in our neighborhood

Large selection with fiction mostly upstairs and nonfiction mostly downstairs. There’s a separate small room with old classics. And some shelves with collectible editions. Also a few shelves downstairs of really cheap bargain books which is always worth searching through for a gem. I only wish they had more vintage literary classics. Plenty of genre fiction if that’s your preference. I always leave with something regardless.

Been here a few times and I’m never disappointed. They have a large selection of used books, so plan on spending some time here. They also have some rare books. Their prices are reasonable and the staff is helpful and friendly. You can also trade in your used books here. There is plenty of parking. If you enjoy reading a lot this is the place to get some bargains.

This just might be the Holy Grail of used book stores. They have a large selection (some of it is in the "hidden" basement!), they have friendly staff, they have helpful staff (sometimes staff are friendly but not helpful, or they help you if they have to - these guys are both friendly and helpful), and... Drum roll... They have a digital inventory! When I asked for a particular author, with which they were not very familiar, they just looked him up in the computer and zipped over to the correct shelf. It was probably the best experience I've ever had at a used books store.

This place has been around for two decades. You are immediately transported into another world when you step inside. From outside, it looks are deceptively small, but with a large main floor and an equally large lower level, you'll soon realize how huge this store truly is; easily rivaling monster book stores like Auntie's or Hastings, only this place is something special. It has worked its way up in size through the years to be the largest locally owned book store in Spokane.

There are always amazing hidden gems just waiting to be discovered and read, and if the economy has got you down, bring in your used books and receive trade credit that never expires! It's children's books range from new, to classics, its Science Fiction section is massive, as well as horror, and suspense! into non fiction? the entire lower level is completely full of non fiction books ranging from science, history, travel, archeology, religious, new age/metaphysical, psychology, self help, photography, cooking, you name it! they've got a section for it! They are a 100% used book store and depend solely on their customers to trade in fresh books, so stop by with your own and see what they have for you.

My favorite room in this bookstore is the downstairs classics room. It's a treasure trove and has comfortable chairs to relax in.

My new favourite book store.

This place has a very wide range of books.

I had the unfortunate problem of finding too many books to read. The downstairs section is easy to navigate and well layed out.

Definitely worth a second look

Great book store! Large selection of books downstairs that is like a mini-library for used books. Bathroom is clean and open access, and the staff is friendly for this Spokane gem. I highly recommend you check out this store.
