Blown away by Danielle in the bakery! She absolutely nailed it! My daughter wanted a black spiderman cake for her birthday and Danielle went above and beyond and designed her an awesome cake. It was also delicious👌🏻😉. Really grateful and thank you Danielle! We will be back for sure!

I really like the Safeway on 29th on the South Hill. The employees are all kind and courteous. Aubrey in particular is so helpful and she does so many things at the store to help the store look nice and run efficiently.

I'm updating this by still saying yes, it's on the more expensive side for the stores around, yet still a good place to go shop for certain things. Pretty good on the customer service side, I will say though. Also great produce lately.... best corn at any store I've been to!!
Their produce has looked great lately. Much better than most stores in my opinion. Helpful employees here too!

Pretty good place for food shopping. There's always some deals and digital coupons around.

Great deals today @ Safeway! Came on on 07/07/23 and was absolutely amazed and touched by my cashiers kindness. McKenna (sorry if I misspelled the name). She was so kind and friendly it really turned my bad day into a positive one and made my stressful shopping experience with two kiddos much better. Thank you for your kindness it will be passed on today!

Love everything about this store. Its open and welcoming. Laid out very well. Employees are always friendly and helpful, as one was this morning when I cut my thumb on a bag dispenser. She went and got a band aid for me. One reason why I keep coming back!

Darcy assisted me in the self check out lane today. She is ALWAYS very friendly, efficient and helpful, managing several customers at once. There is always an issue with digital coupons or store discounts! Darcy is so quick to fix any issue. I really appreciate her excellent customer service. Thank you Darcy for always providing a job very well done!!

I love Safeway... very clean store... nicely laid out... good bakery... try the Signature pizza (house brand) rising crust, it is very good and often goes on sale for $4, it is a good value at normal price... check out the weekly ad, you are sure to find something you would like at a good price...

A little spendy but still my favorite grocery store. Allot of great deals though, plus you can earn points and save on gas

This is my go to store. The staff is great. Even when they’re short staffed they do the best they can to be as fast as possible. If you need something they’ll find it for you if they’ve got it.

This Safeway is managed well, kept very clean, and is normally well stocked. The deli and bakery are always creating delicacies. My only complaint would be the checkout lines; they must not have enough staff, so the lines can get long if you use the old-school method.

Today I lost an important receipt to money orders I bought at Safeway. Customer service couldn't figure out how to get my receipts but the manager helped me get them out of my app and Saved the Day!!! Thank you Safeway

Always clean, friendly, and ready to help. I have a disability that affects my walking. One of the associates, on his own, crossed the entire store just to get two bottles of water for me. I wish I remembered his name, that was so appreciated by me! Thank you Safeway, for hiring the best people.

Went as a walk-in for my updated covid booster shot. Received my shot in a timely manner and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I recommend calling in ahead of time to make sure they are giving the shots that day and what brands they have available.

I came in on a very busy Thanksgiving day. A last minute shopping trip. The entire place was packed, the parking lot was full and when I walked into the store, there was no shopping carts to be found. I had my hands full with groceries and this young man was restocking the fridge. He looked over and asked me if he could help me with something. I said a shopping cart would be nice, but they are all taken. He told me to wait here and he will page a worker to get me one. It was less than 2 minutes and I had a shopping cart. I was very impressed. I let him know that I would leave him a great review. He told me that his name is Jordan, one of the managers. At the end of my shopping trip. While waiting in line, I noticed Jordan again helping customers out by checking them out on a little checkstand at the end. No wonder he's a manager. He's really professional, calm and very polite, all on a very busy day. Most managers would show signs of being overwhelmed in situations like that. Not Jordan. Even the other store employees including the cashier lady was polite, friendly and professional. A perfect example of great management. That's what great customer service is all about!
