Spokane International Airport (GEG)

This is a great little airport with everything you need to get settled in for your flight. Plenty of food and drink options and seating is plentiful with lots of options. They just added a TSA precheck which speeds things up a lot.

It's a small airport, so it's super easy to navigate. Food options aren't great. Starbucks and Burger King are pretty much it. Security line isn't ever horrible, and they have the machines, so you don't have to take out your laptop, which is nice

How do you review an airport?
Well, I’m going to review everything outside the actual building itself.
I realize driving out here is generally very smooth. The the road into around and out of the airport is very well designed. The only problem I ever have out here is with other drivers. Many of whom drive too fast lol. Or just are not considerate of others behind them.
I’m glad to see they are building a new terminal as Spokane is growing that’s the need for more flights in and out.

It’s a nice and small airport. The ease of going through security quickly is really nice. The gate to the Alaska Airlines is close by the security checkpoint. I like this airport.

Was very happy with our flight out of Spokane. It was quick and easy getting through security and the airport was very clean. It would be nice to have a couple more places to eat.

My experience arriving at this airport was great. It is a smaller airport, but still has all of the necessities. It has a few restaurants including Burger King. The facilities are well maintained. The bathrooms are very clean. Everything seems to be pretty well maintained and run here.

Landed safely with Southwest airlines with excellent service and a friendly pilot who greeted people leaving the plane!! From KOA Kona to OAK Oakland to GEG Spokane all Southwest all Boeing all great!!

Listen, it’s likely I’m biased since I grew up in Spokane but this is my favorite airport of all. It’s not the prettiest but it has an early 1960s design and that style still looks great today. It’s only 10 minutes outside Spokane and with the enormous parking garage, it’s easy to park your car. The main area is rarely busy and the concourses are small and have huge windows that allow you to view planes landing and departing, which is pretty awesome, even for the old guys. Over the years, they have done some upgrades and I like the Starbucks right in the middle of everything, even if they totally botched our order the last time there.
Also, getting a rental car is easy here and the cars are parked right outside so you don’t need a shuttle to get back to the airport.
Check this place out sometime. The Northwest is a great area and the Spokane airport could be your first stop.

It's a nice smaller airport with all that you could need to leave the Spokane area. The car rental drop was easy and it has different food options including a StarBucks. No fancy food but you should be happy with the options. Announcements are easy to hear.

This us a very nice small airport. It probably won't win any international design competition, but for what it does, serving the population of eastern Washington, it is adequate. I was traveling on a Saturday, therefore the security screening was rapid. There weren't many restaurants, but two Starbucks within 50 feet of each other. Overall it was an efficient airport.

Best lil airport ever, hardly ever have delays, TSA always a pleasant experience, in and out, could not ask for a better local airport.

I like that this airport is small enough to not be difficult. We rented a car and the car rental desks are right there in the airport. It's a short line for security. It's a short distance to walk to your gate. It needs renovations in some parts, but the other benefits outweigh the vanity aspects. :-) I'll give you pictures of the women's restrooms that are near the car rental desks.

Decent sized airport with quite a few airlines even though it’s on the smaller side for an International airport. Restaurants and stores available too

For a smaller airport Spokane’s is very nice.
The free carts a huge plus.
Recognizing our police, troopers, firefighters and

First time in this airport. I liked how it was well kept. Especially TSA members were so friendly and nice!

The Spokane International Airport (GEG) is terrific. It's easy to get to. It's easy to park. And it's always improving. It's clean and efficient. It's small enough to not need all the trains, buses, or moving sidewalks featured in other airports. Usually we can park right across from baggage claim (for $2!) and be in and out in a few minutes when picking people up. It's even easier to drop someone off. Long term parking is reasonable and highly available.

I remember our first flight into Spokane 7 years ago. We arrived from Miami. There was snow on the ground. We had a 6 month old baby. The person who waited on us offered to walk out in the snow and pull the car right up to the door. I'll always remember that. It wouldn't have happened in any other airport I've been to.

Spokane is that kind of place. Welcome to our new home!

Small and quaint. Easy to get to gates. Big clean reatrooms. Not many food options on either side of security so plan ahead for snacks. Not too many gates. Great parking and easy access to rental car area. Love flying into or out of. However, TSA, same as a Big airport. Same attitude.

Things can still get backed up at main security checks but they've now installed new imaging equipment on the back lane, with special trays. You don't have to take out your electronics or your bag of liquids. The checker can spin the image in 3D.

Also new digital imagery has been added in the terminal hub. Look for it.
