Safeway

I love Safeway for many reasons. The biggest one being all the ways I save a lot of money with the Safeway app. I spend less than I save a lot of the time using the coupons in the app. Then you get reward points that give you free items or money towards your purchase. They also have special games throughout the year that give you free items too. It also has points you can spend towards gas. Their bakery is my favorite out of all the grocery stores by far. The produce and meat is the best too. Usually when prices are cheap the quality is also, but not with Safeway. It is always clean and well stocked also.

I find many things at the Deli. Broil and fried chicken,salads, sandwiches, etc
Besides other items through out the store. Friendly personale, prices not too expensive.

I go to this Safeway solely to use the key cutting machine so i can't comment on it as a grocery store, but it generally appears clean and well stocked if slightly odd in its choice of goods for the locked shelves

Super clean store, managers are very nice, the staff as well. Safeway has always been pricey, but honestly, it's worth it. The fruit and veggies are always fresh. Also, i love when they have items on sale that i want. Recently I purchased fruit, 2 cases of yogurt and several other items. My total would have been over 40.00 bucks! I saved 18.00! So I wound up paying 20.00 for 40+ dollars of food. Thanks Safeway! 💋

One stop shop for all your home needs. It's eerily similar Jewel-Osco for someone coming from the mid-west.
Portions/quantities are ideal for a single. They do have great deals sometimes. Love their to-go options especially the desserts

I miss the old days when this safeway was open 24hrs and was chronically understaffed and didn’t have any self checkout so if you were purchasing something in the daytime hours you’d have to wait at least 20 minutes in the checkout line. Now I go, wait no time :((( scan the items myself and steal the razor an employee had to get from a locked shelf, just out of spite. The wheels of time wait for no one. As someone once said (I don’t remember who, it’s not important, probably me) “Time may change me, but I can’t trace time”

I always pass the bakery and Susan is the best!!! Always says hello. She’s always very helpful. I’ve been coming to this Safeway for years. Susan has such a positive attitude, interaction with guest and her coworkers is nice to see. She enjoys her work. If you need anything at the bakery... look for Susan. She is awesome!!

I love the Safeways on 4th and King and 7th and Cabrillo there always clean and food always looks good meaning cooked foods, produce , sushi, and deli food everything always looks fresh and not like it been sitting there allday.

Seems a lot better thank to the remodel. Although ther le should be someone at the door, so they can explain the cart won't go past a certain point.

You have got to love the security guards and some of the checkers at the store have a really true character. I won’t comment on the slice of customers who misbehave or what the security heroes or the checkers have to do to disengage the misbehavior of the non customers. The midweek parking is generally easy and there’s some interesting pigeon feeders who come by just to help the pigeon population for some reason that I cannot ascertain.

Come after 10pm for the variety freak show - usually someone stealing a rotisserie chicken and getting caught while eating it, or stuffing loaves of bread in their pants. Props to the security service for doing their very best.

Safeway has been a favorite supermarket for decades

The staff is very helpful, always eager to exceed their expectations, I love the location and the coupons and weekly deals

Here we go , Safeway is always good to go to.
I really like the people there , and the food is fresh.
They have hot and cold food , ready to go

My only issue is This location doesn't have enough carts. There were 3 of us waiting for carts. Other than that.. it's a good place to shop

5 dollar Fridays. Always look forward to this! 8 piece fried chicken! Can't beat it! 4 pork buns-5 bucks, yes! Greek salad; 4.99, yes again! Sushi, yes! Etc...
The only downside: CARTS! They keep disappearing, especially Fridays when 5buck fried chicken is featured.

The produce department has beautiful vegetable and the staffs are nice and helpful

Plenty of parking. Not busy inside, no lines at self-checkout. Products were merchandised well. Produce was fresh. Bought plant-based meat, by Beyond Meat. Bought bakery items, french rolls & bagel.

Needed flowers for my partner's co-workers, especially for his closest friend and ally whom he rudely kicked out of his kitchen yesterday. Florist folks were very helpful and friendly and made sure we had the best presentation for both bouquets. So happy we stopped by in the a.m. before what I guess might be a Grand Central Station V-Day crush later today.

I like location. They keep a good stocked selection in products. cashier's are always quick and friendly and the self checkout is never congested. So it's always a quick in and out trip
