Fresh Plus Grocery

Super cute convenience store at the corner of Duval st and 43rd st. They have bikes racks and seating set outside the front store. Good options available. They have everything you need, very good location. There’s several restaurants around the area. A gasoline station is conveniently close by too.

Great prices, fresh produce, I live in hyde park and it’s very convenient to walk over & get my weekly groceries

A quaint little grocery store smack dab in the Hyde Park shopping center. One of the four remaining local Fresh Plus grocery stores in Austin. Their merchandise does tend to be more expensive compared to H.E.B ;however, their produce tends to be cheaper (i.e. garlic) and of better quality. If I need to drop by and grab something in a pinch, Fresh Plus is the way to go.

They're great here. It's definitely more expensive but you can count on the quality of what you buy. Nothing in that store is thoughtless and it's all well placed. The market is small and very well organized. The employees are laid back, cheery and hands off until you need them to be otherwise. You can access locally produced items that I've never seen anywhere else, like their Mothers salad dressings-the ones that were once served just across the street. They are also a great place to find small quick gifts like candles and wine... Or a DIY fruit basket! Great essential oil selection as well as natural pathic hygiene, supplements and medicines.

I love our neighborhood small grocery store. The staff is friendly and they have tons of vegan items! Their hours are pretty good for a small place, and they’re open daily.

We are very fortunate to have such a great little grocery store in the neighborhood. They are well stocked with high quality fruits, vegetables, meats and many other household items you may need.

Charming, quaint little local neighborhood mom and pop grocery with a good selection of produce, wine, beer, meat, dairy...lots of organic, some kosher...has a great old Austin feel, and they have been helping keep Austin weird for generations. I preferred it to HEB when I lived in the neighborhood because of no long lines, easy and fast to get in and out. Very nice and helpful workers. Comparable to price of bigger stores.

Nice selection of groceries! Also, as a trans/non-binary person, I appreciated that the staff did not gender me. Please keep doing this, and consider making it an official policy if it’s not already! 💜🌈

Fresh Plus always has a healthy, fresh selection of produce. Because of the limited quantity, lettuce and tomatoes rarely sit on the shelf for longer then a day or two. Their roma tomatoes are the best tasting in the area, and they carry Zilkes hummus which is by far the best hummus I have ever eaten. Some of the box foods are pricier then the larger grocery stores, but their sale prices are very affordable. Also have a great selection of wines, and convenient to pick up right before heading over to a party. Staff is friendly and they always have a good mix tape playing. The best quick and easy grocery experience in Austin!

Solid little grocery store, with limited selection, but still has all the necessities of life that you'd want without heading to a HEB. There's a small meat deli, and a good produce selection too.

Good beer selection. Friendly staff. Great place to pick up a few groceries in a pinch or if you don't want to fight the crowd at HEB.

Stopped in for pumpkin pie makings. They had it all minus the lines and frantic energy of the big stores. I've been loving on that place for decades.

The people who work here have always been very friendly and helpful. The store is not huge which makes it easier to get around. Great selection of wine.
