I am compelled to write this review following a recent visit to Costco, where I was left immensely impressed by the extraordinary customer service on display.
My recent experience at this particular Costco, however, surpassed all expectations.
We arrived a little late, and by the time we reached the checkout, it was already 9 PM - a full half an hour after the store's usual closing time. Despite this, we were not rushed or hurried, but rather met with an unruffled and patient attitude from the staff.
Following our checkout, we decided to get some food, and what was truly astonishing was the grace with which the staff handled this. They graciously permitted us to dine in, allowing us to enjoy our meal at a relaxed pace, despite the fact that it was significantly past their scheduled closing time. There was a complete absence of impatience or frustration from the staff members. Instead, we were treated with understanding, kindness, and a warm smile, which significantly added to our enjoyment of the evening.
This extraordinary experience is a testament to Costco's dedication to customer satisfaction. It wasn't just about staying open late or letting us eat in peace; it was the genuine kindness and patience exhibited by the staff that left a deep impression.
On top of this excellent service, the store also boasts some fantastic deals. The wide range of products and their unbeatable prices is another factor that contributes to the unique shopping experience at Costco. It's not just the savings on offer, but the quality of the products available that make shopping here such a pleasure.

I really appreciate Costco's wide selection of products. There is something for everyone. Staff is amazing and they are very busy making an enjoyable shopping experience for everyone. Their prices are reasonable and the quality and quantity are exceptional as well.

This is my local Costco. Staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. Need someone to look up a product? Done. Need someone to run back and get something for you? No problem.

This store is ALWAYS very crowded. So come prepared to park far from the door, bump into other shoppers, and say “excuse me” a lot. But it’s fine - we’re all in this together. At least the people are friendly.

Love this Costco a lot and I’ve been shopping here for years! The hard-working team members at the membership/ returns desk, liqour department, tire center, gas station and front end employees/cashiers are very friendly, prompt and helpful. Love when they offer samples - I’ve tried many new products as a result. Love when they feature a MN-made product, especially if it’s a good or beverage item. I appreciate the tire inflating parking spot outside and that they carry the business center sales ads too. I’m definitely a huge fan overall of Costco!

I love Costco. We have the $120 membership, but with the 2% rebate we earn so much more in cash back. (Make it back in $500 a month) Costco has the lowest prices on in-store shopping. I live in an apartment and am one person, but I love shopping for my friends too. One friend likes the sparkling water and classic microwave popcorn. I get the frozen chicken breast; two bags lasts me for a few weeks! My mother likes all the fresh vegetables and greens. She gets power greens and spring greens. Shopping at Costco can be very polarizing, but I love it!

I’m not going to rate this place lesser just because everybody else looks at this place as a glass that is half empty. Look at the half filled side of it, folks. This place sometimes takes forever to get a parking and takes more than the usual time to get checked out. All for what? They sell their products at pristine quality and better price and people would eventually flock to this place. If it’s empty floors all the time, would you even care to enter? 🙂

Let’s look at the positives -
1. Get a Costco membership and you will find great benefits. Right from cost to getting travel packages and even cheaper car rentals.
2. Their tire center offers quality tires at a good deal and the servicing is also good. They respect your time and tell you upfront the ETA so that you can plan your pickup time.
3. The aisles are neatly planned and stocked. They maintain the same planning except for the entrance where the discounted items take rotation on the display.
4. Their cafe offers great deals. We once ordered 10 large cheese pizzas for a team outing and the price and quality were amazing.
5. They offer free samples for tasting at a lot of stops, which is a great way of engaging the customers and alluring them to buy the product.

Something a lot of people see as negative is the astute care people at the entrance show to let you in(checking your membership card) and at the exit to cross check your items on the cart against the receipt. I think it’s only making sure that only the members get the benefits and that people don’t TAKE the products for granted.

Arrived at 10 am. Plenty of parking. easy indoor access. no lines at self serve checkout. A bit disappointed with the women's plaid flannel snap jacket, no mediums. Will check Maple Grove store on line.

Costco is always famous for their croissants and roasted chicken 🍗.

For croissants, from all the croissants I could ever find in any bakery or grocery stores, Costco offers the best croissant. If you want bring the indulgence to the next level, slice the croissant 🥐 into half and toast it. Apply butter, cream cheese, or melt cheese 🧀 on the toasted croissant, it becomes heavenly delicious.

For the roasted chicken, Costco's one is also the best in among the grocery store I ever visited. In addition, it is also the most affordable. According to the fact, Costco doesn't make profit in selling the roasted chicken, but loss. Therefore, for a consumer's perspective, you have to capitalize this benefit by purchasing this roasted chicken every time you ever visit to Costco. Regardless buying in as a lunch or dinner, it buying it to attend to a potluck party, it is definitely worth the price and the taste.

Let’s just make this clear from the beginning: I am giving this specific St Louis Park Costco 5 stars. I am NOT giving all of the Kirkland dynasty a free pass. First off, this Costco expanded its parking lot and now I rarely find myself at odds looking for a spot. This Costco has by far the friendliest employees and there is always enough cashiers on duty. The lines look long, but they always move along quickly. The people that shop here seem to all be on the same page too. Have you ever been to a Costco where there is gridlock in the aisles and a mob at the free sausage sample station? Yah me too, but this Costco seems to have a more shrewd crowd that moves more and lollygags less. I like it.

THANK YOU COSTCO for hosting the event with Jason Momoa. We waited 3 hours in line and got 5 seconds with Jason for the selfie. Was worth it. Also the line to purchase Meili vodka was well managed. Less than 10 minutes. Super nice people waiting outside and super nice customer service inside. Thank you for making a memory.

Solid option for groceries and household basics stuff as well as computer and electronics items, if you are willing to pay the hidden price of aggravation with parking and buying family sized portions and then some of everything. Great auto tires and spirits side stores.

Best steak and the best prices of any shop in the area, including the mini high quality butcher shops.

Great selection, great prices, great service. They always adjust the cashier lines when they get busy so check out is always fast. Fun to have a cheap meal combined with shopping. Always need, clean and well organized. Of course, I always take advantage of their best deal in the world, the roasted chickens!

I call it Diabetco. My gosh they have everything and lots of quality stuff! We got cheese, meats and a tub of chili. Plus got a good deal on this mini fridge. Stayed away from the sugar!

Excellent Costco. The parking leaves a little too be desired but the store is excellent.

If you're used to shopping at Costco in Eden Prairie... the St Louis Park location is backward to what you would expect.

My new shortcut... is to turn left immediately after entering and cut all the way back to the fruit and vegetable section. Normally no traffic.!
