Great neighborhood bodega with a good selection. Owners are receptive to stocking specific items on request. Super friendly bodega dog. This place was a lifesaver during the early part of the pandemic, often having things in stock that were sold out at the large grocery stores.

It was officially called Banner Foods when I lived on Alvarado Street. But we all called it "Jack's" after the wonderful owner/operator.

I visited "Jack's" a few years ago. There were some changes in layout, but still the same "mom & pop store" vibe. Nice to see it's still going strong.

This is a nice little family run corner store that looks basically the same as it did 50 years ago.

This place is key! Family run store with all the essential last minute needs.
