Deli counter is a must! Delicious and healthy sandwiches for under $10...where can you find these portions, quality and price on Union Street?? Exactly. Ask for the jalapeño hummus if you like a little heat and pair with tortilla or pita chips. Falafel is home made by the family!
I recall fondly of current owner’s husband, Sami Sr and miss seeing his smiling face. This market is family owned and been in business at least for the last 40years and a staple while I’ve been living in the neighborhood for the last 25 years.

This is single handedly the greatest corner store that has ever existed in San Francisco. They make you truly feel like you are family there, and the sandwiches are top tier. Mo makes everyone that walks into that store feel like family, and I associate only joyous feelings when I enter this place.

Can’t say enough about how great this place is. They always have what we need and are so kind. Food and produce is delicious. Amazing customer service - they make you feel like family. Hands down, best corner store in the neighborhood in my opinion.

The sandwiches are delicious. The produce is fresh, diverse, and reasonably priced.

Great selection of a variety of things: prepared food, hot sandwiches, breakfast sandwiches, burritos, cold salads, produce, ice cream, canned foods, beer, wine, drinks, milk, frozen foods, and cleaning supplies.

The hours are great too. I'm always happy to pop into Green Street market!

Got the Honeymoon sandwich. Delicious!! Bread wasn't too thick either. Lots of sandwich for a good price.

The new ownership is great! The staff is so nice and the sandwiches are fantastic. They have a great wine selection too! They have a decent produce selection as well. I have yet to walk in there and not be able to find what I need. So glad to have the market back open again in the neighborhood.

They finally got new owners! Same team that does the great sandwiches at Golden Gate Market Deli. I’m sure word will get out that they bought this corner market and it will be just as busy at lunch. And rightly so. Glad they bought the place.

New owners are awesome! Well stocked, fresh fruit and veggies, loads of drink selections with both alcohol and non-alcohol and clearly well taken care of. Also, an awesome deli with great sandwiches!

Amazing deli sandwiches. I have been getting the salami, turkey, or meatball sandwich for years. If you can sneak in around lunch time they usually have a pretty decent soup. The greek salad is great for parties or last minute apps.

To top it off they are a very friendly staff. Sam and family have owned and operated this place for 40+ years. They love the neighborhood and are great people to have a few doors down.

Under new management with fantastic sandwiches and great variety on the menu. Breakfast is good too. Very quick service.
