Great shop! Friendly Staff. They have many many many RPG Books and games. Lots of selection, many accessories such as dice rollers, dice, dice mats, and many games for beginners. Also have a big section of used games. Excellent shop, Thank you!

I come to this store religiously. They have such an amazing selection for any level of gamer. They stay up to date in the latest releases while also working on highlighting smaller and local designers. They have a section on puzzles or rpg books for those not as into the games. You can even find a few gems in their previously owned games section. The staff is always so friendly and knowledgeable and happy to help. They’ve kicked off their demos as well and are teaching games to those who stop on. 10/10 would recommend.

This store is truly amazing and I love it! Staff is the ultimate highlight. When you don’t want their help they will blend right in but as soon as you do, they have great suggestions (this is truly hard to do and I have never found another place that has staff that can pull off good suggestions).

I once doubted their recommendation of a game. Later on had the chance to play that game and then loved it!

Anyway, their selection is one of the best in the city, curated very well. One gripe I have is they stick to MSRP. For most games that’s great. No issues. But for some games like Lost ruins of Arnak, they’re asking 60 new 45 used while you can find it for $40 new at many other locations(target, amazon) ((also I totally get that’s it’s hard if not impossible to compete with the giants)). But, this has only happened a couple times. I love to support them but it’s hard to spend $20 more to do so.

Additionally don’t sleep on their sleeves and other games accessories. They stock it very well and everything is super high quality.

They have play areas coming ( eventually) to the upstairs area, which is an exciting prospect, and I hope they can find a way to make it free if bringing your own games, or at the very least, host some free game nights.

Overall, I love this store, it’s a fantastic part of the city and I refuse to go to other stores.

Games Unlimited is great! One of the top board game stores in the Pittsburgh area, for sure. It's wonderful that they take used games and provide store credit - board gaming can be an expensive hobby so it's great to be able to get some value back from games that don't work out or have been played enough. The used games section is also another great way to save money and get some good deals on games. Finally, they have a great selection of new games as well at pretty standard prices and a really friendly team who can help consult on game recommendations. They even have demo nights and some new games set up to review. Highly recommend!

I showed up at Games Unlimited this morning with my airplane-obsessed and game-loving 8-year-old. He found Fighters of the Pacific, which looked like it might be a little much for him. We took it up to the counter and the staff was so knowledgeable and helpful. They took the time to talk with us about the game and its mechanics, and about the kinds of games I usually play with my kids. Then they went out into the shelves and found Dogfight for us instead. It's PERFECT. Just the right level of competitiveness for the kids, super easy to learn, and (of course) airplanes. And we never would have found it on our own. Thanks so much! You made our day.

This store is amazing. The people are very knowledgeable and help to choose a game from the hundreds available. I can spend too much time in here as well as too much money.

Went in to see their new location and was really surprised. It is a lot more open and items are displayed well. The staff was helpful and attentive. They had some games set out to look at and try. Pricing wasn't much different than big box or online and would definitely rather support small business

Fabulous store, incredible selection, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and very welcoming and inclusive. Best local game shop I've ever seen and we're so lucky to have it.

On a scale of cotton candy to Brussels sprouts, Games Unlimited is an array of snacks!

Step through their sliding glass doors and discover a world of board games. While we were there, they had a few games out to demonstrate if anyone was interested (we played a round, and it was a fun way to experience a game before making a purchase decision).

No bathroom I could see, but they did have a water fountain with bottle filler. Another nice option is their used games shelf where you can find family favorites for a discounted price!

Parking is paid on the street, but if you drive around the block, you can find free street parking.

Incredible selection of games and super friendly and knowledgeable staff available to help point you in the right direction or answer questions about games. Have gotten several great recommendations!

This game shop has a large variety of games. The atmosphere is really neat as well. Enjoyed visiting.

It feels like home.

Constantly fresh new games, puzzles, and more to try. Full dice wall, etc.

But what truly MAKES this place are the people behind the counter.

How do they find such gems? Each one takes care to spend time with patrons, helping them find JUST the right pastime. Ask them any question, ask about any recommendation, they'll have 3 answers minimum, waiting for you.

AND you can rent board games for $5! Try before you buy! If you end up buying, the $5 counts toward payment! Mind blown.

I love this place. I live about an hour outside of Pittsburgh, but I make it a point to visit this shop when I’m in town. It has an amazing rewards system, stocked with the best TTRPGs, board games, card games, puzzles, etc. They have trendy items, they have classic games, and from what I’ve heard they even play the games certain days. It’s a staple in the Squirrel Hill community.

Unlimited is like infinity, impossible; still they get the 5/5 cause their selection is the closest I’ve seen to having everything under the sun. Second hand, kickstarter, new things, and some other fun stuff like dice!

Amazing selection of board and table top games. Staff is super helpful. Offered up proper suggestions for my boys and I to play together. Even found a used version to save a little cash.

An immensely knowledgeable and profoundly friendly associate helped me find a few different games as soon as I looked a bit unsure of where to find them. The store was well stocked and categorized with more games than I could count and I am aware they also host a variety of events that I'd like to observe or participate in. The only reason I left as quickly as I did was that I realized I had quickly ended up purchasing five different games and I'd go broke if I stayed longer.

I learned how to play a simple, fun cat game called Boop. One of the staff taught fiancée and we how to play. Kittens and cats hop on a bed and "boop" each other. It was adorable fun for two players! We bought two copies. Go learn to play Boop there!
