I always find excellent athletic shoes on clearance there! They occasionally have huge clearance sales on their shoes, but I always manage to find something even when I get there after they've supposedly sold out on clearance! <> They also regularly run specials based around their credit card. You typically are offered a large discount on your purchase for signing up for the card. I've done it and then canceled and done it again! <> It is also a good place to get athletic equipment if you're looking for standard stuff. I tend to shop for bargains so it's my go-to place for shoes!

Loaded up at academy with some new clothes on sale during the holiday season. Got all these clothes at great prices and can’t wait to go back next year. Staff was friendly and I got asked 4x if I needed help while walking around look at stuff to buy.

Overwhelmingly large but generally very friendly. Only one gruff and rude employees encountered but all others seemed helpful and kind.

Picked up an online order here. Everyone was nice and helped me out. They have to verify order number and may ask for ID when picking up. Plenty of parking, lots of products.

Davi was a crismatic woman she even helped me carry my huge products and loaded them in my truck for me wonderful person, we'll go back again!

they had socks which is what i desired. if i fished this is where i would come for my fishing needs but i do not fish

We went for fishing licenses and we bought more items. The prices are fair and the employees were very, very polite. Their bcg sport clothing is very comfortable and the colors are great! My husband is a disabled veteran and everyone was just full of attentions. Thank you!

Overall, the bathrooms were nice and clean...and I got some sleeping bags for $10. It was a pretty solid trip.

I always come to academy for any outdoor needs or any workout equipment that I have to buy for myself. They have a wide variety of a ton of equipment for all sports for all outdoor activities including fishing, archery, shooting and gun equipment. They have clothing, shoes and everything else for sale and for whenever it is game season. They also have UT merch there for sale at a very good price. Definitely a place to come if you are an outdoorsy person and if you just want to browse and see what to spend money on.
