You can never go wrong with a turkey sandwich 🥪 on sourdough with avocado 🥑, lettuce 🥬, tomatoes 🍅 and some cheese 🧀 for lunch on a Saturday.
The place: Severin liquor & Deli in La Mesa, Ca. Prices are good, sandwich was solid and really good. They also have a big selection of all kinds of craft beers. If you're looking for a place with great service and selection than look no further. The owner Nate is a great guy. He always asks me how I'm doing and really seems to appreciate the community. They have a phenomenal beer and liquor selection. They don't try to up-sale you and really try to give you an honest opinion on what they think is the best choice for you. Every now and than they will have a sale on liquor and there are some amazing deal to be had in that section.

Besides the great selection of alcohol you can also get a great sandwich here. I posted a high def photo so you can check out there menu. My personal favorite is the "la mesa trolley". This is a boars head meat supplied deli and they are amazing. The first time I went in I was skeptical but the quality of ingredients is top tier. I come here at least twice a month or more if possible, just for sandwiches. Great store, keep up the great work.

Went on to grab a snack and was happily surprised to see that they had a full deli. The girls making the sandwiches were absolutely delightful and very nice! Not to mention, the man at the front register (I'm guessing the owner), was extremely kind and seemed very appreciative of my business. I don't live in the close by, but if I'm ever in the La Mesa area, I'm definitely stopping by again! Thanks guys!

Asked for a random -some spicy roast beef thing -best sandwich I’ve had. For some reason SD suxx if you’re not getting a taco. This is different!

Staff are always helpful and friendly. Boar's Head deli with large variety of great sandwiches. Grab a craft beer or select any one of the hundreds of wines to go along with the food. Great go to spot with fair prices.

Great local neighbourhood Liquor, Deli and Wine store... great selection of Spirits, good top end stuff on the shelf. Also the owner and guys who work there are always helpful and answer all your questions.
