Nice staff, great seating options, and delicious expertly made coffee drinks. The dark chocolate mocha is delicious. The avacado/humus combination toast was great. Never had it mixed but it was yummy. The menus is tied to healthy options although their scones are to die for! We will be back.

Their fresh made scones with flavored butter are 🔥🔥🔥. And staff are super friendly. This place is full of personality. Would come here with a book or with friends for a chill meal.

I had the grilled cheese, peach black tea, and tomato bisque. The food took a while to makebut it was completely worth it! Everything tasted made from scratch and the Associates were not only polite and helpful in my choices but also several apologized and thanked mefor my patience. There coffee is also great! I love this place!

We discovered Public Square a month ago during one of our visits to the Friday Farmers Market on La Mesa's main street and truly enjoyed the atmosphere, the customer service and the food.

I had the avocado toast (which I had never had before) that also includes hummus, veggies, a wonderful and unique dressing and an egg, which I had scrambled on the side. Filling and very tasty. We went back this past week and had lunch there again so now it is a go to for us when in La Mesa.

I love this place. It's my go to Cafe, the food is top notch and the presentation as well. It is busy at times but the food is worth the wait. If it's your first time going there, I would highly recommend the signature breakfast. By the way they do make vegan and vegetarian options or substitution

The vibe here is awesome. There are is a lot of seating areas and their cookies are really good.

Coffee Carnitas Sandwich is NOW the most desirable item on the menu!!! Whomever is now preparing this dish for service needs a raise!! I’ve had this multiple times and today 12/31/2023 first time it was not dry! If it’s pre-cooked from a vendor you wouldn’t even know!!! Amazing staff and great place if you like hip tunes and people watching!! Heheh🤣🤣

Great atmosphere, amazing service! I love how so much thought was put into decorating this place, so many little details. The Green tea and scone with 3 butters were spot on good! loved it, definitely coming here again!

Awesome coffee and great location to sit and enjoy it.
Got to try out the pizza they offer on Fridays as Pierre’s pizza and was pleasantly surprised. It’s a square pizza similar to a Detroit style or Sicilian style pizza. Who knew that coffee and pizza would go so great together.

I don't think I have ever had a negative experience here. Not ONCE. This is the kind of place worth being a regular at. From the music, to the wonderful baristas, and especially the coffee they take their time and love to make. My go-to items are: the Brown Sugar Cinnamon Latte, the right amount of sweet without it overpowering the taste of coffee, and their Breakfast sandwich. I love their sandwich its a 10/10!!!! Third item has to be their artisan tea.

Was busy and a little bit of a wait but the food and drinks are absolutely worth it! Try the Dark Chocolate Mocha Latte and the Signature Breakfast Sandwich!

This place is amazing. Not only is the food always phenomenal, but every person who works here has an amazing attitude. You can tell they enjoy their job and they want to make people happy. It’s such a joy and pleasure anytime I come here. I wish I could do it more often!

Delicious scones paired with yummy flavored butter options. Great coffee! My favorite is the avocado toast(not pictured), I usually add an extra egg and bacon. This coffee shop can get pretty packed so keep that in mind when going to do work/study or with large groups.

We arrived on jSunday ust before opening to find many others who chose to come early. Once it was our turn to order how we were greeted and treated made the memory of waiting in line disappeared. The young lady at the register made us feel as if we were the only folks who mattered. He suggestuons for coffee and food each of us were apot on! .

This space is filled with so many motivational and conversational reminders that you can't help but feel grateful and inspired while enjoying the space. We absolutely loved everything about our visit! We will return!

I love enjoying good coffee at a place that has a good vibe. This place has both! I enjoyed a very nice Columbian Geisha pour-over coffee and a delicious scone with a blueberry butter. Mind you, this put me out over $15! The scone was really amazing (warm and not dry) and definitely a tempting item to return to. I love good coffee and will return to try their other in-house roasted coffee pour-overs. There is plenty of seating for folks visiting (and actually talking) and for those studying. Thanks!

Great La Mesa coffee shop. Biscuits and gravy are unparalleled! Good coffee, several fun hangout nooks. They get slammed 9-11 so be warned if you’re looking for a seat!

My husband and I were looking for a quick stop for coffee and the Public Square Coffee House offers so much more than that! You first walk up to an inviting patio with beautiful trees and umbrellas to offer shade. The interior of the coffee shop is uniquely decorated and feels modern and vintage at the same time. The employees are friendly and knowledgeable about their offerings. I ordered the breakfast sandwich which was perfectly crunchy and savory with bacon, eggs and vegetables. My husband got the chia bowl with raspberry and granola. We also ordered the scones and butter flight to share. And let me tell you, this is one of the most amazing things we've ever eaten! It is a must have. This scones are light and fluffy with a neutral flavor that is a perfect vehicle for all the different flavored butters in the flight. My husband ordered a plain black Americano which he said was delicious. I had the black sesame iced latte with charcoal. It was fantastic. Overall the experience at this cafe was fantastic! We will be back!

This spot not only has great coffee and food, it also has amazing service! We went in to buy coffee beans for our coffee shop down in Mexico and were treated with best service we could have asked for. Could not recommend this place enough 🫶🏼
