Amazing selection. They're very transparent when it comes to old pressings that have warps and scratches as well. Everything is very organized and they have almost every artist you can think of. They even have unofficial pressings. This is by far my favorite record store

Record Bar seemed to cover most genres and had a decent selection of brand new releases, as well as older Classics and rarities. The gentleman working there (Evan?) was very friendly and helpful. I will certainly be back.

Look. I don’t know how they do the magic that they do. But selection, customer interraction, quality of product, AND I got a dollar just buying a JEFFERSON STARSHIP album!! You can’t beat that folks. Check em out on social media. They do live auctions and (buyer beware) you will empty your bank account!! So what are you waiting for !? Go get that Pablo Cruise or JEFFERSON STARSHIP vinyl you’ve always wanted !!

Amazing shop! The gentleman at the counter was very friendly and knowledgeable about everything he has in the shop. A huge variety of new and old music. If you are into vinyl records this place is perfect. They even have a section of CDs.

Absolutely loved this store! I found my most sought after RSD exclusive here and everyone was so nice. Will definitely be back soon!

I don't know where to start really. This place is fantastic! Tony and his staff are great. I had emailed Tony some questions prior to RSD and he was the only record store in town to reply to an email or FB message and not only did he reply he was so nice and positive! I showed up for RSD pretty early and there was such a great group of customers waiting outside as well. They were so organized and fun during the whole event. Glad to wake up early and provide this small business my business! Id like to note that besides RSD, I've been there a few times before and they are always friendly and helpful and prices are reasonable.

Can't say enough good things about this business and staff. Melanie helped me over the phone the other day and was so pleasant and helpful. This store has the best customer service around. Anything isn't right, they take care of it and right away. Your auctions are entertaining and awesome and many of us don't have record stores near us so this is a really fun way to buy records. Then each record kind of has a memory attached to it when I receive it. Thanks Record Bar Staff.

I got heavy into vinyl right about the same time as Record Bar opened its doors. The team has been excellent with assisting me in rounding out my collection and offering suggestions based on my tastes. They take the time to get to know you and it makes a huge difference in my purchasing experience. That, plus the great selection, keeps me coming back.

Love, love, love Record Bar! Fantastic selection of new and used vinyl. Very knowledgeable and helpful if you are looking for something specific. Most importantly, the nicest people on the planet! They truly care and love their customers. We drive several hours to visit, and always leave with an armload of great vinyl! Check them out in person or online. Placed an online order, again, on Saturday afternoon for some records I've been dying to get my hands on. They arrived on Monday, so fast and efficient. Love the little note on the invoice. You can tell they take get care in what they do. Can't wait to actually visit the store, hopefully real soon.

Great folks with a love for vinyl and getting good original & new vinyl into people’s hands. I love the weekly online auctions & the convenience of being able to grab the latest release or a classic hard to find album right from your home. I grabbed a new Nina Simone & it was quickly shipped right to my door! This is a classic record store with great staff, lots of musical knowledge, that has fun & truly cares for their customers!

This is the coolest place with the nicest people! They have located things I was looking for on vinyl and are so cool!! I am so happy there is a decent vinyl record store around! Great prices and will ship to you for a very reasonable price!! Go see Tony, Donna, Doug, and the other guys there!! You will not be sorry!!

I've never stepped foot in this record store, yet it's one if my favorites. How is that possible? During the pandemic, they started a FB live event every Thursday night. It's changed a bit over but the basic concept is the same, the staff comes on and goes over the new releases, they they go through a few other albums and they end the show with the Tub. What's the Tub? You'll have to tune in to find out. But I say, I've bought a few grails from the Tub.

The chat is a good time, as well. A great community has sprung up in the chat. There's a few inside jokes, some of which would take too long to explain, but you'll get there (Chris Gaines, Sold) and everyone in their helps each other out. The staff is fun, friendly and knowledgeable. There are many Thursday nights I don't buy anything, but I still have a good time. There is also many Thursday nights where I get a little carried away.

Hopefully I can stop in the actual shop soon, but until then, I'm there, virtually, every Thursday night.

I'm sure that I have bought we'll over 100 albums from this awesome record shop this year, maybe 200. Tony, Donna and their staff are great people to deal with. The live FB sales on Thursday nights are so much fun that my better half and I build our plans around the event. Haven't missed one yet.

The Record Bar has an atmosphere unlike any other music store still standing, the employees are knowledgeable, cool, funny and they offer customer service any music fan would dream of. It’s like one of those record stores you dream of growing up, they have everything you want and if they don’t have it, you can bet they will find a way to get it! Their Thursday night Facebook shows are my favorite and I consider these folks my friends because they’ve done so much to assist me in helping build my collection. Such a wonderful place to shop when the days of shopping have begun to fade in the rear view, this place brings back the charm! 10/10 would recommend!

As a music lover who used to buy records from The Record Bar back in the late 70's, I love this new incarnation of my favorite record store. Tony and Donna have done a great job of creating a family-type atmosphere where everyone is welcome. The music selection is very diverse, both new and old, and if you're looking for something special, Eddie can find it for you! I love this place and these folks...and you will too.

I randomly googled “record shops” when I visited Wilmington and Record Bar popped up and had amazing reviews. My friend and I went on a Sunday (oddly enough after Record Store Day in June 21’) and the guy working was so nice, we mentioned it was our first time here and he gave us a run down of where things were located, what specials they had and added in some stickers to our purchases! I asked for an artist I had been searching for on vinyl, he immediately looked it up and went and grabbed it for me. 10/10 this place is now on my must do list when I head back to Wilmington! 💙

Great record store that treats you like family. Always feel welcomed and always leave with unique vinyl, well worth a visit, but their online service is just as friendly and super fast shipping. But for a great experience check out their live Facebook shows!!
