Stumps is great! Good prices and the assortment of items you'd expect in any grocery store. Great produce and unique items like salami in a to-go cup. Great spam selection.

Found this place by referral and since then has been my go to place for one of my favorite drinks. Since finding it there they have increased their inventory to keep up with my needs lol They’ve gained a customer out of me and now I find myself wandering their aisle buying other items they have a a great selection and prices. Sure there’s other stores more to local to my home in La Jolla but the employees here treat you good and customer service is what shopping is all about!

Hector made me a delicious sandwich today and was very friendly. I will definitely be coming back!

Went there to find a specific item only carried at this store (pizza girl pasta sauce) and I ended up finding more things I loved

Clean & Organized not very busy usually easy to find parking and not super long lines to checkout.

I love my Saturday wanderings around this quaint store. They have all the Meats you can think of and a great selection of everything else. I ADORE their baking section!

Really clean, maintained and the full potted plants were actually high quality and less than 15! Some even 10. That's cheaper than Albertsons for comparison. Would come there again.

How can you not give five stars! This is the most amazing fresh sincere local grocery store in San Diego. They have their talented employees make the mains and sides! The seafood salad is one of the most excellent things you’ve ever/never tried!!! 💕💕

I've been a patron of Stumps for around 15 years now and what they lack in size they more than make up for in putting on their shelves what the people that shop here ask for. They still have one of the best wine varieties in San Diego coupled with their amazing deals on fresh fish, and butcher shop meats, you can afford to get everything you will need to make a memorable Dinner, or if you are trying to gather the necessary ingredients for an impromptu BBQ from the charcoal to the potatoe salad they gotchya covered. I personally love this place and oh ya for the cost of the property their on and the lack of buying power like the major chain stores the prices are still competitive, no location inflation going on here.

First time shopping here. Their selection of items were good and the prices aren't too bad, either. I will be visiting again.

Independent IGA store is personal, great butcher, and my favorite the discount baked goods brought down from another IGA Major Market. I always find goodies to buy and freeze at a fraction of the cost.

The people who work there are always friendly and helpful. Today's sale in the meat department was extraordinary: high quality meat (including prime New York strip) at prices from 25 years ago, and that is not hyperbole.

They're a small store so they don't carry everything, but they've got a little bit of everything. Totally nice people working there.

From Ohio and staying to care for grandchildren. I walk to shop at Stump's and was very pleased with the food selections and the sale items were a good buy. The store was very clean and the employees are very friendly and helpful. I just wish they had a bakery.

I and my family stayed three week in San Diego in Loma Point area, among the groceries around we particularly liked Stump's Family Marketplace at Voltair street - a lot of choices for fruits, veggies,, meat, wines, diary and above all, we particularly loved their bakery products! Friendly and helpful personnel

Our favorite local grocer. Very friendly staff with the cutest little pumpkin patch to wander through in the fall. Great place to pick up your Christmas tree!

Just awesome & the staff are so nice. I love that they are open real early. I am a high risk person and love going at 6:30 am. I may see 1 or 2 people, yet love that it isnt crowded.💌

Convenient local market. Hands down the most attractive and well stocked produce department ever. Decent variety for it's size. Checkout staff is always friendly and kind.
