Murphy's Market

A little bit of everything! Definitely a Mexican market. They have really good produce. A vast variety of everything else. Fresh meats and cheeses. Good prices. Great service from most of the staff. The female cashiers are 50/50 but I won't deduct a star for that, it's just a heads up.

Oh! And also the best corn tortillas I've found on this side of the border. The flour ones too.

Murphy's has great deals on produce and they have a good meat counter as well. Sometimes they have specials on isadora refried beans 2 for $3:00 cooked chicken up to 9.99 not buying

Murphys is a family grocery with a very Mexican feel. Mole sauces, meat cut super thin, and marinated. They make wonderful fresh salsas, the botenera salsa is outstanding.

My son and his family have to go here for the marinated meat. Chicken and Carne Asada barbecue was great at there home!

This ethnic market is Super Dope! It gives that old-school butcher shop vibe and their tres leche cake is Awesome, must visit👍

Love this place. Good quality food and everyone is always very nice. I’m here pretty much weekly picking up various items for my home. It’s a great friendly neighborhood market. Their carne asada is fantastic and so is every single one of their salsas. Love Murphy’s.

This place brings back childhood memories for me. I used to live in the East San Diego/City Heights area as a kid and regularly frequented this store when it was just a small establishment. Now it's all grown up, and the staff have changed but not the friendly service and care for customers it's come to be known for. When in town, and if I have time I make it a point to visit Murphy's Market for it's great service, selection and above all, the precious memories. Thank you, Murphy's!!

Great little store. Doesn't look like much from outside and name will throw you off. But this is an awesome place to get high quality goods, including the best bollilos (pan birote/torta rolls) in town. Nice selection of homemade hot sauces, Mexican and Central American creams, Mexican produce (cactus, etc.) and much more.

A small neighborhood store. Produce department was very nicely stocked. The Isles though narrower than your big markets were not blocked with display merchandise. And the crew was friendly.

The best place to get your produce from. I've been a regular here ever since the huge remodel of a corner store and having a wide parking lot. Always fresh and ready, clean environment and nice people.

Clean. Bus passes. Baked goods from sister store. Butcher counter, store made salsa and ceviche. Decorated sweets. Fresh variety of produce. Excellent customer service.

It was a great experience. I wanted to return a item and they gave me my money back. Murphy's is a great place to buy cakes too! Super nice bakers that bake delicious cakes. 😊

Was Clean. Nice helpful employees at check out of meat department and register. Everyone had on masks and kept their distance. Nice fruit veggies and meat.

Everything a Mercado should be . Fresh produce . Specialty / regional ingredients. Deli with all the goodies. Alcohol counter . Average prices on goods . Great prices at the deli. Fresh and frozen seafood .

Caters to Spanish needs and Spanish speaking clients. Do speak and understand English well enough to help those non-spanish speaking people. Excellent butcher area with good prices on chicken.

I too feel that they have fresh produce the vegetables that I have but always very tasty the fruits are sweet very good baked goods are awesome and people are friendly

The store is super clean they have anything Mexican that you want or need to cook with the staff is super helpful and their cakes are off the hook I was suggest everyone come in here once for the Murphy’s experience

For the most part it's usually a quick in and out shopping experience. Conveniently close to home. Great carne asada preparada. And cashiers are always nice and quick.
