Among the fresh veggies & fruits, they also have a great Selection of plants, cheaper than much home depot/Armstrong gardens

First time coming here. Excellent customer service. Variety of fresh fruits and vegetables all at a great price. They also had Julian pie. I would definitely return and recommend this produce market to my family and friends.

This is a great little farmers market in the heart of Grantville, just west of Allied Gardens, off Friars Rd. & Rainer Ave. Adjacent to In & Out Burger across the street from Panda Express.
The owner has changed hands, but market is back open and its nice to see they will be in our neighborhood to stay! They stock fresh local farm vegies and fruits at more affordable prices than Vons their nearby neighbor. Some of their can goods are a bit more pricey, and some snacks are higher, but a small business cant always obtain things in bulk like a larger chain.
And its nice not having to deal with the angry people that drive through vons parking lot!!
Its really unreal how traffic is now at the grocery stores. I cant wait till they turn 60, and have to slow down a bit for the newer generation around them, lighten up peeps! We all have to go to the grocery store, quit fighting with each other and stop being so mean!
Back to the Farmers Outlet, its great they are open on Mondays now! Ignore the
PERMANENTLY CLOSED at the top, they ARE BACK OPEN! Trade with their business, very nice people, and sometimes their low on stock, but have found Monday/Tuesday is best days to go!

This place has a pretty good selection of produce and decent prices. Very small parking lot but it has never been to busy when I have stopped in so parking has not been an issue.
I found some good ghost pepper seasoning here a few years ago that I have not been able to find here or anywhere else since which is to bad I really liked it.

Excellent for fresh vegetables and fruit. Small outlet very quaint next to Our feathered friends. They have Julian pies, pastries and unusual breads . They have a very nice tea selection. Lots of Hispanic foods. I love this offbeat market. Oh! They also have plants and succulents.

Nice little hole in the wall grocery store. There fruits and vegetables are cheap. They alone are worth going to this place. They don't sell meat but they still have dairy products. Fruits were roughly 99cents per pound. Limes were 5 for a dollar. Cucumbers I believe were 69cents each. The fresh herbs were really cheap as well. If you go through a lot of fruits and vegetables I highly recommend this place.

Large variety of friuts and vegetables at a low price. They also have other grocery items: canned goods, pastas, dried fruit (which also consists of many choices). They also have halal food variety.
If you are buying items with total of less than $11 (or $10 (?)) better pay with cash. Otherwise there's a $1 charge for less than $11 transactions.
I would definitely go back there if i need fresh produce.

As a life-long San Diego resident, I have seldom experienced the same small-business charm and quality as I have at Farmer's Outlet. This produce store offers a wonderful selection of fresh fruits and vegetables, a number of international products, and simply unbeatable prices. The friendly staff is helpful in selecting the best produce and show a real dedication toward serving their customers.

Put simply, it's a great small business alternative to overpriced big box grocery stores, and is one I am very pleased to support.

Also: Julian Pies!!!

Been shopping at Farmers Outlet for about 15 years and go out of my way to shop here! It is good to know that since they are a locally-sourced only store that what they have in house is what is currently in season. I have never had an issue with any of the produce I've purchased in 15 years because the few times something wasn't to quality we took it back and they exchanged it. The staff is helpful and will bring produce out for you if you ask for things.
Just went there yesterday to stock the fridge and found everything fresh and exactly what I was looking for and somethings I didn't know I wanted/needed. ;-) The prices are extremely reasonable and they always seem to have munchies that I haven't seen anywhere else. Oh, be sure to grab a bag (or three) of the bacon habanero pretzel chips. You will thank me!

10407 Friars road is where this farmers market is , just google it and its easy to find. I have been going there for 14 years and they seem to be getting better and better all the time , what I mean is they are carrying more and more of the everyday things I need to purchase. And it is cheap. Good quality and not over priced like VONS OR KEILS.!! Its a great place check it out !!
