Target

Fits PERFECTLY IN OB!! Very convenient to walk to and not pollute the air with my car driving to stores miles away. Not all locals are complaining, but those that do are just just a bunch of angry losers who hate the world and their lives.

I like this local target. It has enough stuff to cover most of your needs without having to go to one of the huge stores with the thousand other people.

As a Mom of two kids with Autism, having a Target walking distance from our home is super convenient and reduces the amount of tantrums just to get basic necessities.

I understand that people are against Corporations in Ocean Beach but I see locals everyday take a walk to Starbucks to get their coffee. Keep in mind that their is also a CVS, Rite Aid, and banks left and right.

These reviews are meant for people to review the store itself and the staff. My opinion, the store is very clean and the staff are all great. Every single person that works there is friendly, attentive and helpful.

I go to Target almost everyday to get little things for my family, and I also shop at all the Mom and Pop shops in OB.

I love living in OB and I love everything we have here.

Did a little shopping. Saw thieves stroll away with loot. Sad!

So happy this place was a few blocks from our hotel. We were able to get our essentials for our 2 week visit to CA and when our daughter got sick on day 2 I felt at home trying to find medicine for her. The employees were so happy to be working there and went out of their way to help us.

I love this Target! Even their small clothing department seems cooler! It’s super convenient as well. Walking distance from your home, Airbnb or hotel. Plus a children’s section for toiletries and over the counter health needs. This Target is a life saver!

Very happy this is here. Glad that I don't have to drive all the way to Point Loma for groceries that are reasonably priced. Nice Target too, small but has a lot for it's size.

Also, I'd recommend looking at some of the people who rated 1 star because it's "killing OB". Some of their old reviews are great fun to read.

It’s super convenient can pull right in and grab what I need. Never any issues, good prices and have everything you would need to get quick. I haven’t been able to run into many stores in OB besides tweaker Rite-Aid/CVS which last time I checked are larger corporations. If there was a mom and pop shop with these offerings open until 10 I’d gladly go there instead. The issue with the restrooms honestly we’re surprised about that? We live in O.B it’s a shame we can’t have public restrooms but we all know why. I’m sure they don’t wan’t it to turn into the PL Target. Honestly though the public restrooms that are available around us do you really want to use them? If you have children it’s even worse and scary to let them use any open bathroom here. Half the time I have to leave my favorite local spots to find a restrooms usually only available at our local restaurants or breweries. Or for the brave of all brave there is a public restroom located at the lifeguard station by the sea wall.

The staff is always so incredible. Not a overall bad selection. Love that they are celebrating all families if you look closer to the title of the cards its a beautiful thing. This is why I support Target ❤ 💯

I’ve only been in a few times since they’ve opened, but on each occasion I was surprised at how friendly staff was. Today I am writing this review because the staff person’s customer service went above and beyond. She took the time to make sure I was getting the most savings using my Target app and she showed me some other helpful features in there too. I wish I got her name, but it’s that extra attention that makes me want to return.

Tiny, compact Target store, right on the main street in Ocean Beach! Covers the basics you expect to find in Target. NO BEACH SOUVENIRS! Which is fine since OB has plenty of inexpensive small shops with plenty of the kind of souvenirs. What you will find are the basic needs and a great selection of groceries. Free parking in their adjacent lot for 15 minutes ONLY. Plenty of 2 hour spots on the street if you come early in the day. I always recommend the small local businesses first but if you can't find what you need, this Target will most likely have it right in Ocean Beach!

Anyone posting 1 star doesn’t understand how annoying it is to have to leave OB just to get toilet paper or basic groceries that don’t cost a million dollars. This was much needed for the community and they did it while somehow keeping the inside charming. Get over yourselves OB needed this

Great addition to the Ocean Beach community: Friendly/helpful staff, fantastic store, fun cool architecture, and super convenient parking... We need more businesses like this in Ocean Beach. Bravo!

Very friendly staff and phenomenal service. Better service than that awful Indian Restaurant down the street who got rated the best by San Diego Magazine. Get over it with your local stuff because business is business.

4 Star: Very convenient and saves a trip from leaving the beach for small things.
The 5th star: I love how it disturbed so many hipsters like the clowns who give it 1 star.

I've been at this Target about 5 times so far getting supplies ready for my son for summer school and plan to get a few more things next week for when the regular school year starts August 26th

The employees are always friendly and happy to help everytime I go in there which is about once per week. It is fun to shop there.

The store is small but you can find things you need for emergencies.

Small Target but perfect for the neighborhood. Super convenient.
