Highly recommended and if you are looking for any "hard to find" items this place is great to help you with what you're looking for and even provide good alternatives for items that have similar tastes. Mission Wines in Woodland Hills is a hidden gem for beer and wine lovers in the Los Angeles area. This small, unassuming shop has it's own parking which is nice and makes for easy access. As a regular customer of Mission Wines, I can confidently say that this store offers some of the best products and services in the area.

Kelts is my favorite cognac..it was priced so wonderfully I bought 2/bottles.. Mission has well mannered helpful and cool dudes keeping it real for a sistah.. Thanks y'all from my entrance to my exit experience, I'll definitely be back..

Excellent selection of fermented and distilled beverages

I've been to all 4 locations. My visit here has been the most helpful. I was asked if I needed help and was given the most informative education on tequila. The guy that helped me walked me through all the Tequilas that were in my price range. Evan though I live closer to the other locations, I will definitely travel further to this location due to the help and education I received from the staff. The drive is well worth the treatment you receive as a paying customer.

Simply the best. Outstanding selection of spirits, beer, cigars. Great care taken in cleanliness, facing the products, stocking the shelves. If you want something and they don't have it, they can get it. Knowledgeable and VERY friendly staff. Honestly, the best liquor store I have ever encountered. Wish I could rate it 6 stars. After my first time shopping there, I can't go anywhere else. I'm spoiled now.

This place has got just about everything you could imagine you would ever need to enjoy In the way of cocktails beers wines mixers and just about every kind of alcohol you could ever imagine. The management there is great the wine guy there is fantastic very knowledgeable staff very helpful personnel and very personable. What more can I say they are relatively experts in most fields of all alcohols. They're knowledge in different realms depending on who you talk to is vand extremely well versed.

Best chain in the valley to find hard to find bottles of wine and spirits and crafter beer and their prices are good. My whiskey selection is awesome now thanks to them.

This is a legit liquor store, where as many of the stores in the San Fernando valley are "convenience stores" with insane markups because they know you're in a rush on your way to a party.

This store has a slight markup but it's not crazy it makes sense.

I must say they have one heck of a selection of bourbon and anything else you're considering. Staff are very kind, welcoming, and right away would ask if you need any help. This will be my go to place from now on and such a great experience. Cheers!!!

Love this spot. I get wine and whiskey here but mostly beer. They have a huge selection with a lot of hard to find brews. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I asked the beer guy for a certain IPA, he was out and said he'd order a 6 pack for me. Just like that, I didn't even have to ask. My favorite place to buy beer.

Love this place! Great people who know what they are talking about and happy to be doing their jobs. Massive selection of all types of booze and good prices. Great for last minute gifts or special occasion items. They constantly stock seasonal and special beers, and hard to find liquors. Absolutely worth a visit. Come check them out.

Everyone here is super helpful and wants to make sure you leave with something you enjoy. Great beer selection and if they do t have what you want, they can order it for you, just ask!

Great selections and pricing!

I live about 2 1/2 miles from The Green Jug. I moved to the area about 2 years ago and it quickly became my "go to" bottle shop. Now, admittedly, the San Fernando Valley can be a bit of a beer wasteland, but places like the Jug are going a long way to change that. This is a pretty big store, well lit with an easy to navigate layout. The big key to the store though, the reason that makes it my first stop, is the fact that probably 95% of the beer in the store is stored in their fridges. It's kept properly cold and out of the light from the moment it leaves the distributor's truck until you carry it out to you car. This is key for a store in IPA heaven (aka California). The service is also top notch. I was first introduced to the store when I called to see if they carried Firestone Walker's Parabola, which had its first bottled release right around when I moved to the area. They didn't have any yet, but the gentleman on the phone took down my cell number. About a week later I got a call informing me that two bottles were waiting for me at the store. This is for a first-time customer, not a regular (although that has definitely changed). Not to sound cheesy, but they had me shortly after I answered my phone and said "Hello". Keep up the fine work!

Great selection of wines and specialty spirits, like hard-to-find quality Calvados! They always have good quality chilled wine and Champagne so you can grab and go straight to a party. Friendly and helpful staff. Tastings are a nice touch, wine to whiskey! Now they have same offers as stores for buying 6. Just one wish, there are a lot of regulars who come weekly, would be good to acknowledge your loyal customers more!

Mission offers an outstanding selection of my two favorites, wine & scotch. Staff at their locations stand out for their knowledge & helpfulness. If you need assistance selecting the right wine, talk to Mark Menchyk, the wine manager at the Woodland Hills location. He really knows wine & is an excellent resource. Helped me select a crowd pleasing Bordeaux Blanc at a great price. Thanks Mark!

This is THE spot in the San Fernando Valley to grab a QUALITY selection of the best craft beer in LA. Nathan is a serious craft beer gem when it comes to knowledge about the scene. This guy needs a raise! He makes sure the shelves are packed with the freshest beer out there. Multiple times I have asked them to see if they can get a specific brewery and they always look into it and even start stocking it.

Curious about a specific style? Know your friend likes a specific kind of beer and are looking for something similar? Ask anyone there and they can point you the right way.

This has been my go to shop since 2018, so skip Total Wine or BevMo and give Mission a shot.

Amazing selection of wines & spirits. The staff was super friendly & knowledgeable of their products. We found items we love that we can't find easily. Prices are on point! And everything is well organized.
