This store is a very good place. To buy various items and the staff here are very nice and kind and help customers to have a good purchase.

They always have great Halloween decor. But these videos were taken first of September and they were already low in stock. If planning on purchasing next year, get ready to go in August. 🎃

I would like to leave this review to show my appreciation to Touraj in this west hills location. From my start of appliances to my pavers in my yard he gave me great advice and took his time to make sure I got what I wanted. He understood what made sense for my home and worked with my budget for my appliances. My more complex project was the pavers I was looking for my back yard. No store including Home Depot and stone stores had what I was looking for. When he walked me through what you guys had online, he found something that was very identical and told me what type of paint I could use to make it look exactly like what we wanted. We literally looked through all stores because I needed 10 pallets of product. Touraj was patient and is extremely talented and knowledgeable with your products. This was a well spent $10 thousand dollars. I hope he gets the recognition he deserves!

Last week I went to see Touraj again and on October 12 he help me with my bbq and blackstone. Great service yet again and I will continue to go back to him

Garden Section

This is definitely an overall better experience than going to home depot, that's for sure.

You'll find that the quality, and selection is great.

I needed to pick up some dense potting soil that retains moisture (Blue Miracle Grow), some 4 & 5 gallon pots (10" wide x 10" tall), and a few odds and ends things.

Up along the wall on aisle 1, I found some really thick resin pots that have been trying to find for quite some time. They were between 1/8 and 1/4" thick. You can definitely tell the quality is there! These were in the $12 price range.

Honestly, I find these way more manageable than having to buy clay pots, that weigh 10 times as much.

There were some other bigger plastic and resin pots that were at least a quarter of an inch if not half inch thick, durable material that far exceeds anything you'll ever find at home depot. Especially for the price!

1/8" thick 7" saucers made out of durable resin were priced right at around $7 each.

Back inside the store, on aisle 22 up against the wall, I was able to find some rolling pot Movers. These are the ones that you can put a large clay or heavy pot on, and it has wheels underneath. These are clearly for heavy duty use. They're made out of some sort of cast metal, with really good casters for Wheels underneath.

The staff is very friendly, and also very knowledgeable.

I actually have to pass a bunch of home depots to get here, and they are pricier than home Depot, but I always get great friendly service here, so it's worth the trip. They always have the right answer the first time and I don't have to seek out help. Always my first choice.

It’s especially great for the Holiday decorations. You can find various Christmas trees and lights. You can also find cool tools and equipment for your house and/or gardens including different kinds of plants/flowers and seeds.

A little higher priced than home depot. But when you have a choice between a democratic run store and a Republican run store. Well , I suppose I will go to the democraticredit store almost every time i'm talking about lowe's people. And they're the only place that. Give me a military discount which I appreciate. And therefore tend to go there more than anywhere else.

I have a store close to my neighborhood. I mostly go there for flowers and plants for my garden. I was very happy to learn that they will allow you to return plants that die or for any other reason with the orginal container and your receipt, or they can look up the sale on your credit card. Also they have something called my Lowe's which can keep track of your sales as well. I have been able to keep my yard blooming all year long by taking advantage of this policy which I only learned about by accident. One thing I will warn about though, be careful when considering purchasing an extended warranty on any Vornado fan because this company generally backs up their fans and other items for five years. I found this out by calling their 800 number to ask about the fuse in the plug. They asked for the serial number on the bottom of the fan and told me it was still under warranty. So they had me cut the power cord, send them a picture of it with the power cord cut and pictur of serial number on the bottom of the fan. Then Vornado sent me a brand new fan about a year and a half after I had originally purchased it from Lowe's. Pictured below, it was a tower fan, model number 184, 41 tall inches. It cost a bit more than most fans, but we'll worth the extra price considering the warrenty policy. There is also some pictures from my garden.

From the moment I approached him with my inquiry about rearranging and modifying my apartment balcony, I could tell that he possessed an extensive knowledge in his field.

My balcony transformation would not have been possible without his invaluable assistance. Huge thank you to Martin in the Plumbing section. Came back to this location two days in a row to look for a bathroom ceiling fan and both times he was so helpful and patient with us. I really appreciate the time and dedication he put into assisting us. If Lowe’s doesn’t give this man a raise or partner of the quarter, you guys would be dumb! Again thank you so much Martin! Every location needs to hire more people like this man! Thank you thank you thank you!

Just bought a new stove. The employee working with us was very knowledgeable, helpful, and answered every question we had. Best employee we've ever dealt with in a store! Give "Francisco" a raise!

Very fast and convenient pickup. Prices are pretty reasonable when on sale and you can get stuff you need without waiting for it to ship.

05/02/2021 - Not satisfied with the newly purchased Calliope Large Pink Geranium, I decided to travel to the Lowes in West Hills. As expected, it has a better quality of the identical plants.

Also, purchasing a 180-Lumen 4-Watt Specialty Textured Bronze Low Voltage LED Spot Light (Item #: 688460 | Model #: GLRBS80102) makes a big difference at night.

04/2021 - Generally speaking, it has better plants, for example, the quality of Ivy geranium is better than the other Lowes' due to better maintenances.

They were very helpful. The moment I walked in I was greeted. It was a bit difficult finding what I was looking for but one of the workers directed me to the right aisle.

West hills Lowe’s is officially my favorite Lowe’s to shop Garden center! Their staff is outstanding! Recently I needed help to my car there, a gentleman named Terrell was so helpful lifting my stuff with patience as I was particular about how things were loaded. It was also so sweet of him to offer some very kind words of encouragement to my gardening efforts. It was so inspiring, I spent the rest of the day and complete a whole back patio project literally in one day. Overall their garden staff is usually pretty great, but he seems like the type who really takes initiative and shows genuine appreciation and care for the garden center and customers coming in there.

I love Lowe's for a number of reasons over home Depot. First off they always are clean and well organized. they seem to have more of a selection 2 for do-it-yourselfers, whereas home Depot seems to be targeted more towards contractors. Now Lowe's does have all the necessary products for contractors but they also make do-it-yourselfers like me feel welcomed. They also give a 10% discount to US military vets! And they have a no-questions-asked return policy because for me when I am buying for a project I always buy a little bit extra so I don't have to run back to the store and they take whatever we have left without any questions asked.

Less busy then the other big box hardware store, more staffing. Quick in and out and comparable price.

I came here a few days ago with my brother while helping him with a home improvement project. Overall I was pleased with my experience, everything was as you would hope or expect. But one thing in particular inspired this review and that was my interaction at the register with Beatrice. Dealing with her was the highlight of my day, you don't meet many people like her anymore. She was so positive and helpful, I walked out of the store with a big smile. I will come back to this store, if for no other reason just because this kind lady treated me with such care and warmth. I hope this establishment realizes what a treasure they have in Beatrice!
