Safeway

Just a shout out thumbs up to Safeway on Arapahoe at 28th for being a clean well organized store that was actually pleasant to shop in. Needed something only Safeway has and my former usual one, 28th at Iris, has gone downhill both inside and out in my experience so rarely go. Stopped in to the Arapahoe store yesterday, easy parking and the store is right size ( compared to the other larger one) and after my run to the cereal aisle for the coveted Peanut Butter Chex on sale for 2/$5.00 lol, I browsed the store and found every department very clean and easy to shop. Helper at the self check out very nice too. If you haven’t been there in a while I am recommending.

Great selections, online coupons really help to save money on the products I buy most often. Hard to find my favorite limeade anywhere else.

Safeway is changing the whole model of how the store is laid out. It is very confusing as no one seems to know where anything is,in this total facelift of a store. Maybe in the end it will be a good idea, but as for now, I can't say that it is 😰

But it's getting better little by little.

They are getting settled with the new arrangement and the addition of the wine throughout the store.

I've been on a very particular medication for 7 years that's essential to my ability to function normally. There's been a complicated supply problem in my area that's forced me to bounce from CVS to Walgreens to King Soopers and now, finally, Safeway. Frankly, I REALLY wish I'd just started this process at Safeway to begin with (especially considering I do most of my grocery shopping there anyway). Not only have they been able to quickly and regularly fill my script (Store #2911), the pharmacy staff has been extraordinarily friendly and sympathetic about the importance of the medication. Additionally, the Safeway App was extremely easy to setup and allows me to quickly submit refills, check status, receive notifications, etc. This was 100% NOT the case with the other pharmacies' apps. Moreover, the other pharmacies rarely even pick up the phone, requiring 2 or 3 trips to the store to fill one prescription. Thanks Safeway!

All the workers were nice. I got some good priced items. The place was clean and sanitized.

My friend Malachi used to work here and he loved it so I love it! They donated all of the food for his funeral and that was a beautiful thing. Thanks you guys!

We haven't been in store very often since the pandemic started and we typically do grocery pick up at a different safeway location, the only reason we went in here was for our vaccination booster. Our appointments went very smooth even though we were a little late for one. The pharmacist giving them was the most gentle the husband and I have ever had with injections.
The store wasn't busy so we decided to shop around a little. We will be switching our store pick up locations to this one now after the great experience, bonus it is closer to home.

Thanks again for a wonderful experience! I asked your name but after talking to too many people today I forgot it. Sorry. I had purchased a brand of dishwasher soap I had never used but it was the only one available besides bulk sizes which would take a long-time to use since I only run the dishwasher once a week. You were so kind and I really appreciate your help and how well you knew your job. Wow!

To all the other employees, this location is great! For example, there have been many employees that exhausted from sleep, school, work, or whatnot and yet they still went out of their way to smile and say hi. That's cool! And not just to me, but to the customers they were checking out as well. I was an employee of the hospitality/service industry for 22 years and can definitely say that y'all are great. Thank you!

Note: Hard workers know how to push through the toughest of days! During this time of social distancing even the smallest smiles and/or hellos are really big for us all. Thank you all for truly caring! It's the people who care in this world that will do great things as we evolve and move forward past the pandemic.

This store has some great people working in it! There was a nightmare lady in front of me in line the other day. Dylan and George were like saints in there efforts to accommodate her. Inspiring work gentleman! Hat’s off to you!!

They have some absolutely amazing employees that actually know by name they have a gentle been by the name of Shannon who is just so great and always a pleasure to chat with his son also works there and my whole family just love them both!!

Great smaller Safeway...convenient location. Helpful and friendly staff! Also great pharmacy staff, no long waiting, and very nice service. Definitely worth a visit. Also it's never really busy here and good selection of all kinds of items.

The gentleman working the self check out this evening, I believe his name is John, is such a wonderful and helpful employee at this location! Thank you so much for helping me tonight with all my questions! I will always shop at this location just because of him!

Great customer service. I was looking around near the front of the store for a Oxygen canister display. An employee named Annette asked to wait will she searched as it had been moved near pharmacy. She came back and led me to it. I noticed she had a bag and asked if she was coming to work. She said no, that she was just leaving after being there since 4AM. It was around 1:30 PM, I think.
I told her she was the employee of the week in my mind. I think her name was Annette. Outstanding customer service that should be recognized. My first time there, but I will come back.

One of the best Safeways I have visited. The staff is very nice and helpful. Everything is usually well stocked and organized. Prices are good all around with regular deals. They have lots of self-checkout lanes which are usually open and working. There is a bakery, Starbucks, pharmacy and deli at this location.

As I entered Safeway, I found it have a nice entry way. There were signs indicating that the baskets were cleaned and sanitized. People who are vaccinated need not wear a mask. Safeway is well laid out, clean and the associates were friendly.

Safeway was cool. Got alot of food in there and what not. When oh when will we achieve the technology for me to use a backpack as a grocery bag without confounding the scale they got on that self check out. The planet is doomed if we can't even nail this simple contraption, doomed.

The Kroger of the West! Here in Georgia, I am familiar with Kroger, but we have no Safeways. The first Safeway I shopped at was in California, and more recently, I shopped at Safeways in Boulder, where I found they were "full-service" stores — groceries, deli, pharmacy, etc. Convenient locations and helpful employees.

This Safeway has some of the nicest people working for it. Special shout out to the manager who recommended the Mango Habanero Chicken and the nice guy behind the chicken counter. I am going to be here more often because of you two.

EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! I was recently in this Safeway looking for a few things like a mad man given I am not familiar with this Safeway as I am not local to Boulder. Larry guided me in the right direction and was as helpful and polite as they come! I ended up at Larry's checkout stand which furthered my experience here! Larry was the best and certainly made my experience the best it could of been.

We would like to give a shoutout to the Floral Department at the Arapahoe Safeway in Boulder, CO for going above and beyond with our balloon order for our son's CU grad party. Jordan called us from her personal phone to ensure our order was right. She was friendly, caring and our order made for a very festive party! Thank you Jordan! 😊🖤💛

This has been my default shopping option for a while now you can find all the necessities for a grocery store and there will generally be some good sales as well. I would definitely reccomend this place if you are looking for a quick stop to get all your groceries for the week. There was good produce as well.
