This King Soopers is highly recommended when grocery shopping in the downtown boulder area .

5-17-2023 big massive store. Lots of parking.
Gas station on the premises. Some beggars here and there. Plenty of choices.
The place does seem a little crowded, not with people but stuff to buy.

I come here for the Sushi counter most days for lunch. The location is kept clean and tidy, and the Sushi counter is always fresh, the workers are very nice and respectful. Thank you!

Give the store manager, Luis, a raise.
Not sure how many hours this guy works but he seems to be always there, is incredibly friendly, quick to respond and resolves any issue without hesitation. Thank you!

I am stunned and horrified for all who lost their life here. I use this grocery store when I'm in Boulder. The scenery outside the building is magnificent. I will continue to support this business when I am in town.

My bag ripped and 2 jars of cherries feel and smashed in the parking lot on the way to my car. I didn't want to take an L (they're $5 apiece). Went inside and manager was cool as they come and supplied me with 2 more free of charge. Will shop here again.

The floral manager went above and beyond helping me get flowers out the same day, I being late for everything called after delivery deadline for the day but Shannon I think was her name said she would do her best, the flower n balloons got delivered 2 hours later! Excellent service thank you !

Called you before noon on their graduation day with request for sheet cake with names on it , not expecting it to be possible, but you pulled out a cake out of 4/5 available and decorated it with their names within minutes, ready for pickup. One of the more affordable grocery stores in Boulder. Produce has always been fresh and well stocked when I've visited. Decent prices on bulk items and you can find good deals on pantry items if you're looking out for them. Staff are pleasant and helpful with questions and issues.

This is a well maintained shop and the staff are always friendly and kind. As I was waking my cart out to my car today I saw a store worker assisting an elderly woman with her groceries. The young man provided over the top customer service as he not only helped the woman load her groceries into her car but assisted her with getting into the car, starting the car, and buckling her seat belt. That's excellent customer care! I highly recommend this store because clearly everyone here has the right idea about doing their jobs well.

I went to the king Soopers on 30th Street in Boulder. I have to say out of all the king Soopers I have shoped at, the meat department has the best looking selection of meat, and phenomenal customer service. The assistant manager Patrick, went out of his way to cut up some chicken breast for me for fajita night. Not only did he go out of his way to cut up my chicken breast to make my life easier, he gave me some free samples of seasonings to try.I never knew that they can give you free samples of different type of seasoning for your meat. They are awesome. 😁

I have shopped at this KS in my neighborhood for years. When the pandemic hit, I was not about to sit there and watch the news around the clock, so I went to Soopers and put in an application.
It's a great place to work. Lots of caring, hard-working, and fun people work there. Never a dull moment! The pay is good too.

Grocery pickup service works like a charm. I put in my order the day before and only had to wait a few minutes in my car for them to bring it out. Appropriate substitutions were made for all but two out-of-stock items. Frozen items were still frozen.

This King Soopers was remodeled in January 2019. It's not my usual King Soopers, so I don't know how it looked before, but it's nice now. They have an extensive selection of fruits and vegetables, and I was able to find fresh turnips for my soup. Produce prices were good. They have an old-fashioned mechanical horse for kids at the exit. If I had a young child, I would do my shopping here just for the horse! I have uploaded a photo.

This is a good King Soopers store. The negative post about the plastic bags is inappropriate.

The policy that reviewer is talking about is not King Soopers' or Kroger's policy. Its actually a Boulder city ordnance that all supermarkets and some other retailers have to abide by. Doesn't seem fair to shoulder the store with the blame for this when they are simply complying with local law.

I go here for my staples as it is the cheapest place for them. Sunflower market (1/2 mi away) usually has cheaper produce though. KS is open 24/7 which is great for a college student who likes to shop at 2am. The pharmacy has pretty long hours too. The selection of local and/or organic food is slightly better than Safeway, their main competitor.
