Motown Thrift

Motown Thrift is my personal favorite out of any thrift store I’ve ever been to. They are clean, organized and it’s easy to view items throughout the store. I make multiple trips there consistently on a weekly basis and almost always find at least one thing worth purchasing every time I go in.

Very nice selection of items at reasonable prices with daily sales and discounts for military personnel and seniors. Definitely be back!

Nice place. Clean,good prices. Friendly staff. Ran into some even more compassionate nurses today while i was there. A very nice couple stopped and asked about the stitches on my neck. They were concerned about the way it looked inflamed. I assured them it was getting better than it was and thanked them for their concern. Nurses are the Best!

The store is so clean and organized. Great job. Lots of staff on the floor and cleaning too.

I LOVE this thrift Store and ive only been 3 times. However, there is a down side: they take all my money EVERY TIME 🤣

Sunday is "Manager's Special" day where certain items are marked as low as 20 cents - My daughter and I got over 125 items today (some designer, and brand new with the tags on) and only spent $36!

best employee is the one with a deputy badge. If you see her say you like her glasses she hates them

I am giving Motown Thrift 5 stars. They came a long way from being DAV. The store is clean, no nasty floors, all clothes is hanging up on racks, reasonable priced, always find what i need, seniors discount for 5 days☺. The staff I have experienced is pleasant. The only thing that i would request is that a cashier would be at the jewelry counter always and make that location 10 items or less check out.

The Motown Thrift Store was very helpful to me during the time when I was trying to donate items from my late uncle's apartment. I thank them very much for their wonderful service. They accepted our donations and even helped us unload the vehicles when we brought them.

After the re-opening as Motown I've noticed a lot of great changes. I've been going to this location since it first day it opened as DAV.

Since the change the store is way more cleaner, no nasty things on the floor, shelves are dusted and nice looking and counter tops that look great.

The prices and quality of items stayed the same pretty much which has always been great.

They have carts that actually move now, as opposed to wheels that don't move and falling apart lol.

Most importantly, the staff. Before the staff was always rude and they always seemed miserable at there job, with the exception of some. Now the re-staffing had made this place way more of a comfortable nice place to shop at.

Keep up the great work!

I've visited quite a few thrift stores in the area, but this is one of my favorite. They have a decent stock and prices are much better then goodwill.

Store layout was nice and organized. Fiting rooms closed for now and shorter shopping hours for now, due to covid. Prices looked good, I just did not see anything I needed. From the in-store info, I think the best day to go would be Sunday, 25 cent specials.

I prefer this store if I do the thrift thing. The selection is always plentiful and fun to browse. Staff is well thought, and helpful if need be. The prices have no competition. Happy thrifting!

I ended up in line behind a rude and unruly customer and the employees handled the situation with utmost grace and professionalism.
To me, the “no tag, no sale” policy is 100% fair and in line with every other thrift store. Not sure why people get so mad about that. It prevents a lot of dishonesty.

This store is the best resale shop around. They have a huge selection on women clothing, and I absolutely love,love,the 75% and 50% off selected items. They're not like the other resale shops I've been to by selected color's are only 50% off and the clothing that's nice are Never the 50%0ff,only the UGLY clothing. Anywho....Thanks I love,love,this thrift shop.

Clean thrift store and they have nice stuff bought two dinning room chairs and spent only 12 bucks they are in very good condition and look really nice. Will be going back this weekend to find more stuff. Im all about shopping on a budget. And the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Love this place.. I've been shopping here for years when it was called the D.A.V. always very clean, staff always nice and friendly but I was just told to start coming early on a saturday because for the first time the store was limited in selection. Nonetheless I drive all the way from Detroit to shop here....

My favorite local thrift spot! As is true with any thrift store, it can be hit and miss and requires a lot of sifting through racks, but the value is terrific and I’ve had some really great finds here.
