This place is a gem! What a remarkable job the new owners have done to this mkt. Unbelievable how much they have to offer in a smaller mkt. The mkt is incredibly clean, organized, and the service and product and the hot food and deli is most definitely top notch!! If you havent tried their delicious pizza it's your lose. The smash burger and pizza is to die for better than other places in sd. I love all the organic products they offer and the quality. They put so much love into the deli foods to go and the prices are amazingly affordable and delicious. Can't say enough about this gem right in the middle of ocean beach!

Well, pop into Krisp, the best grocery store in OB! Fresh veggies, cuts of meat, and the absolute best homemade guacamole! Quick check out, helpful meat counter… this place is great!!!

Came in the store on a Wednesday for the farmers market pleasantly surprised how organized and fresh smelling it was. Only problem that I personally had was that no one greeted me when I walked in that's about it not too many complaints for me go there their prices are decent

I've been in Ocean Beach for two weeks and haven't had a good meal yet. I gave up on restaurants and surrendered to the grocery store Krisp. There I have found the only good meal during my stay! The smash burger is unbelievable! Delicious, satisfying, not greasy but melt in your mouth. The bun and cheese are awesome. Amazing natural cut shoestring fries which occupy first place on my personal fry scale. The rest of the store is good too but you don't want to miss this burger. Way better than the "famous" burger place on the same stretch which is over rated imo.

Get your Stok Coffee drink here...great Double Chocolate Decadence Cookies and bananas too...sandwichs are a bit pricey...otherwise, I Luv this place.

LOVE this place! I came in looking for quick grab- and- go snacks for the beach. There is so many options to choose from, they have a great vegan section. I love the staff there, a cashier with a bow and lots of tattoos was very bubbly, friendly, helpful and fast with our check out. I'm very satisfied with what the new owners have done. 10/10 would recommend 👌

The entire staff here feels like an extended family. Everyone is so nice and goes out of their way for all requests, from the counter, to the deli. Prices are cali prices, but the staff make the purchase worth it.

I love the dessert section in this supermarket! They seek out cakes from bakeries across the country and sell them by the slice at reasonable prices. Some of the best cakes around! Selection typically includes chocolate cake, cheesecakes, carrot cakes, chocolate mousse, rainbow cake as well as a nice selection of wines and spirits and a hot pizza counter with pizzas and sandwiches available. A real gem downtown! Also Open late!

Best local grocery market ever in OB. I shop here. No need to go anywhere else. They have the finest cuts of steak and liquors and desserts. There's even a focus on healthy living it seems. Live local, shop local! Years later my opinion of Krisp has only improved!

Thank you for locating here! Sometimes it’s difficult to find clean healthy food near the beach. I dropped in for some healthy snacks (and also a tall boy) to perfectly supplement sitting on the beach all day. The location was very clean and well organized, great experience!

Great local market... I shop here all the time and let me say, the deli in the back is underrated. I asked for something very specific and they were able to get it, wrap it and sell it for 5 bucks. For a small store they pack a lot in there. Staff are friendly and neighborly. Shop local!!!

I enjoy supporting our local businesses. This is a wonderful super market located in a convenient spot at the heart of OB on Newport ave. They keep the place so clean and organized it makes shopping there a breeze. The staff is friendly and has that OB vibe. Thank you for this Apple Tree!

Friendly, neighborhood marketplace with impressive offerings for its smaller size... the big surprise is that you expect to pay more because of it’s “convenience and independent flair” but they really keep the prices reasonable and the offerings are fresh and eclectic. It is really a blessing for all of us that live in OB!

Very modern, well laid off, fantastic selection and presentation. Not what I expected from a small local grocery store. Sure the prices are a bit higher, but you are paying for the convenience of being able to walk to the store and the service here is superior. And yes, a great selection of ice cream.

Amazing store! Has everything you need. Food, snacks, drinks both alcoholic and non. If you live or are staying in OB this store is a one stop shop for anything you'll need. Anytime I'm in OB this is the 1st place I go to stock up on supplies. Prices are very reasonable as well

I love the new Apple Tree Market. The staff are helpful, and they carry so much more organic and speciality foods, than they did at the old location. It's great to have a grocery on Newport!

krisp is my favorite store in OB, I’m in there every day! Crystal and the rest of the staff are so nice and friendly, definitely go there if you’re in OB! amazing food, try the cakes :)

Has the BEST fresh squeezed orange juice in all of San Diego!!! Strange that that was my take away, but I love fresh OJ and this theirs is SO good!! Their produce is pretty good too!
