The service here is consistently fantastic. Employees are super knowledgeable and friendly. Today I overheard them going above and beyond to make a little girl feel included in her dad's game shopping. They always seem to have just about anything I want in inventory, and employees make sure you're getting the best possible deal.

Great place to go for retro and new gamers. Cheap prices for the stuff you're missing for your older consoles like controllers, memory cards, AC Power Supply, video cords, and much more! They got all you ever need for retro gaming and equipment. Very good prices for retro controllers consoles and games as well! Must go place for gamers. Hoping they get more stores even in Mason City! I have had a great experience with Video Games Etc. The staff is very friendly and will tell you almost anything you need to know about games and consoles. I also really love the layaway program where you can put down a percent of the game’s value and pay the rest at a later date. My only real complaint is that they price games with reproduction cases, printed cover art and with no manual at complete in box (CIB) prices. I don’t want to pay full price if the only authentic piece of merch is the disc. Consoles and everything else are always fairly priced though, just make sure you know what you’re paying for when you buy the games.

The best used game store in Cedar Valley! The staff is very helpful and will help you find what you’re looking for, even if it means calling you when they find what you need later. Their prices are also very even with the market so expect to pay a fair price!
It’s rare, but sometimes I’ll buy a game that doesn’t work properly just because of its age, but every sale has a 90 day warranty and they will gladly take it back. If they can’t repair it themselves , you can trade it out for something else in the store, or take store credit and wait for another copy to come in.
Excellent store for used games, consoles, tech, and movies. I send everyone interested in used games to this location at some point or another.

Game Stop used to be our only option— now we have this badass store! The prices are GREAT, I always seem to find my favorite games for really cheap. But what I really want to point out is how helpful the staff are! And they straight up won’t lie to you, I asked if a certain game was on Game Pass & they told me the truth instead of just trying to take my money. They’re also fantastic at explaining new games to me that I’m unfamiliar with , which I really appreciate! Thank god for Video Games Etc!

I am not very good with mostly game systems and stuff I called up to his place to have them help me figure out what's wrong with my PlayStation 4 Skipper help me get it working perfect I was very pleased with the services and the help that they were able to give over the to help me get my PlayStation 4 working again thank you again skipper

I absolutely love this place! I tend to go in at least once every week or two to see what they have in stock. They have a ton of amazing retro gaming stuff for very reasonable prices! For those that want newer games, they've got those too. They also sell Magic and Pokémon cards, so there is something for everyone! They have a very helpful and knowledgeable staff that aren't annoying or pushy which is something I really appreciate. I've picked up some really great stuff there, and I'm definitely going to keep going back! If you're into video games, this is the place to go!

Awesome game choices. BEST TRADE IN VALUE IN THE CEDAR VALLEY. They take 30% of items quoted prices. I took in a few action figures and walked out with 40$.. definitely beats electric undergrounds PRICES and beats their customer service BY A LONG SHOT! And no I don't work here, but this is the absolute only place I'll go. It just makes Sense.

Very organized store. They have a lot of rare stuff and it is fun to hunt here for classic games and movies. Extremely helpful and knowledgeable staff. They have decent prices on everything and have sales frequently. Don't expect to get much from selling stuff to them, though. This is the place I've always dreamed of, and I love stopping in every couple weeks, and you will too.

Stopped in today to check the place out, and ended up purchasing a controller they recommended. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, and the store has a huge selection of consoles and games spanning all different eras. Definitely gained a new customer today. Can't wait to go back.

LOVE this place. It's one of the few places I can still purchase used 360 games and used movies. Prices are great and customer service has been great every time.
